Dr. Martin Weisman, MD

Dr. Weisman is simply the best, he is very personable and put as at ease.

He is a very knowledgeable doctor. Great personality. If I had to rate the wait time, it woul be a zero. I waited almost 2 hours. Kind of ridiculous especially when you get a text the day before stating if you cancel day of, you may incur a visit charge.

His patience and conservative approach stands out. We have been dealing with ankle tears for months while debating surgery. Exhausting all options with more PT different brace is appreciated.

I used to go to a different Dr within OrthoAz but since he no longer accepted my insurance I had to switch doctor, this doctor made me feel rushed did not listen to my concerns, when I asked about fmla he said I didn’t need it, I’m a mail carrier I work 14 hrs daily on my feet walking 13 miles daily, I felt like this wasn’t it honestly, what got me was “why do you need fmla” well I get flair ups that’s why and I need to take time off work simple.

Dr. Weissman was a great doctor for my mother who had knee surgery, and for me as the concerned daughter. When I requested to speak to him, he responded quickly. He was attentive before and after surgery. He checked in personally with my mother after surgery, and has been attentive at our two follow up appointments. He does what a doctor should and more. I never want to need a doctor for a broken bone, but if I have one I am going to him.

Very informative, very attentive on every aspect of the circumstances

I recently visited Dr. Weisman for a 16-week post-op check-in for a Brostrom repair along with a peroneal tendon debridement. I still have some pain but that is to be expected after surgery. Despite that, I always enjoy my visits with Dr. Weisman because he never makes me feel rushed or undervalued as a patient. Dr. Weisman is a genuinely compassionate, professional and knowledgeable orthopedic surgeon, and wants nothing but the best for his patient’s care. He never makes me feel less than or marginalized for being insured primarily by a worker’s comp insurance plan and secondarily by an ahcccs healthcare plan. I don’t know what I would have done without Dr. Weisman and OrthoArizona’s physical therapy team taking care of my orthopedic needs. Therefore, Dr. Weisman is a wonderful person, and doctor that I would highly recommend to anyone in need of a talented orthopedic surgeon. Thank you Dr. Weisman, and OrthoArizona! Dr Weisman is great. He has a difficult situation with my son but always remains upbeat and positive.

Dr Weisman saw me after I shattered my ankle. He was gentle and kind and clearly communicated findings from X-ray and ct scan. He shared his surgical plan. Reassuring in his manner but didn’t sugar coat what was wrong. Surgery with multiple screws and a plate—went well. His pain management was really effective and we avoided opiates! I am 3 weeks post op and started PT yesterday. I am an RN and am a tough customer. This gentleman is a true healer. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Weisman is always very informative about the next steps in my process. Dr. Weisman does a very good job of listening to his patients and making sure that your needs are being met.

Surgery it self went well but dealing with Dr. Weisman and his surgery scheduler Bianca G has been horrible. I have left over ten voicemails to Bianca and never received a phone call back. This was before she left orthoArizona. I had to call the front office to get ahold of her. And when I did go in on my appointment to go over MRI results I was waiting in the patient in the patient room for over a hour. Than Dr. weismans assistant took me in for an X-ray that was completely unnecessary, I was only there to go over MRI results. Than when DR. Weisman came in the room he asked me “so what brings you in today?” Weisman had no clue I was there to go over results that his assistant scheduled for. And on top of that I didn’t get an explanation on why I had to take another X-ray that day. I will never come here again for another orthopedic injury.

The wait was longer than I anticipated, but that means he spends the time needed for each case

Dr. Weisman was punctual, professional, & courteous. He listened attentively to my history & complaint then examined my foot. He diagnosed the problem & proceeded to explain the various treatment options. He answered all of my questions.

I fell and broke my hip. I was lucky enough that Dr. Weisman was the surgeon on call. He was kind, informative, and very knowledgeable and helpful. I would definitely recommend him to anyone needing orthopedic care.
