Post Op Review
Had full knee replacement December 4, 2024. At 6 weeks I have been released from physical therapy as I have met all the flexibility and strength goals. I have had minimal pain after the first few days. The knee works great!! I cannot express how happy I am with the results. I did what I was told to do by Dr. Pallente and the physical therapist. I am scheduling to get the other knee done 12 weeks after the first knee. Dr. Pallente has been very thorough and has taken the time to explain everything to me in great detail. His staff has taken very good care of me and is very kind and considerate. I highly recommend Dr. Pallente and OAM for knee replacement.

Right side total knee replacement
Dr Pallante and AJ are wonderful people, my TKR was completed 5 weeks ago and the whole process was amazing! His staff move with a mission and are great to deal with when you need to connect with them, respond in a timely manner over the internet. I had my procedure completed at the surgical center right next door, outpatient. The staff at the surgical center are amazing as well, very professional and compassionate! I’m still healing and will see Dr Pallante next week for my six week visit. It is truly amazing what a skilled surgeon can do! God bless him and his staff! And thank you so very much for what you did for me and my severely deformed right leg(knee).

Already knows everything before he talks to you
He was 45 minutes late for my appointment with no apology when he came in. I know doctors can run late, but acknowledge your patients wait. First time meeting me, would ask a question would not let me complete my answer before telling me his thoughts. Why ask if you already know the answers? I finally just stared at him, I guess I got my point across as he then let me answer his next question. I work in the medical field, I am not a doctor but I know a thing or two. I will not go back to see him.

Both Hips Total Replacement
Dr. Pallante and his staff did an excellent job over the summer of 2023. Both hips surgeries went smoothly and using the new robotic tools made the precision of the job into a great result. My recovery on both went extremely well and I am now again peddling my bike with zero pain and incredibly increased mobility, flexibility and reach. My thanks to Dr. Pallante and OAM staff for great work.

Saved my leg!
About 7 years ago I had a horrible accident. My leg was severely injured. One hospital sent me away and I was fortunate enough to put myself in the position to be in the care of Dr. Pallante. He was able to not only save my leg, he continued with his expertise and kindness to get me to where I needed to be. I am forever grateful. The saga continues with my knee for the future and I will continue to be in his capable hands.

Dr. Pallante has performed three surgeries on me (left total knee, left shoulder, right rotator cuff) and I’ve had a great result each time. He always explains things thoroughly to me as to what to expect prior to surgery and what my recovery will involve. He takes time to answer my many questions in an understandable manner. He and his staff are always friendly and efficient.

Reverse right shoulder surgery
Very informative as to proceedings, test and accessment. Everything went great, no one left us hanging and wondering what was going on. Dr. Pallante and staff were great. Take note that I was dreading this surgery due to everything we’ve heard going on in the hospitals and that surgery is scary in general. Recovery has been good also.

I waited over an hour and a half. When he finally came in, he rushed through my options. Never touched my injured arm, never asked questions about how it happened or my lifestyle to determine realistic options. Asked what I have done to help it so far, and cut me off after a couple sentences. Offered 2 options- stretching and it will heal in 3-18 months, or surgery. There was no in between. No PT option, no written description of at-home therapy. And he made me feel too bad to even consider surgery, because it will heal on its own in an average of 9 months. I almost cried. He didn't listen to me as a patient, because he never ASKED anything of me. But when I asked how to manage the pain, because motrin wasn't helping, he offered a topical option (which he also didn't write down), and then told me twice not to use narcotics. I am not sure how he jumped to that conclusion, but made me feel like he thought I was there for drugs. Appt lasted 5 minutes. I went to my car and sobbed.
