Once we get in there to actually see him, things are very pleasant. He is very knowledgeable and it is evident that he tries to stay up to date. However, he can never seem to write a coherent script that the pharmacist can fill: no directions, amounts, etc. Because it is a controlled substance, we have to go all the way from Tamarac to Sunrise again to get it corrected. We really do like the doctor, but there seems to be a little arrogance there - just because he signed it, everyone will be fine. Not fine.

I it was possible to give this Dr and his office staff a negative star I would. The staff in incompetent they offer very little service they waited for weeks to submit a referral to the insurance company kept blaming the insurance until I called the insurance company only to find out they never submitted the request. The office then said I never told them I needed the referral when I said you kept telling me it was pending the response well I was not the one you told you needed the referral.

My parents have been under the expert medical care of Dr. Marenus for the past 28 years. I have no doubt that if it wasn't for this compassionate,dedicated and most knowledgeable doctor and his wonderful staff my father would not have had the longevity or quality of life he had until he passed away at 94 a short while ago. No matter how busy he always took the time to explain things to us in a way we could understand. God bless this Doctor.

My parents have been patients of the doctor for over 30 years. While I have never been a fan of his (long wait times, rude, rushed, etc.), they were pleased with his services -- despite having to wait hours in the office and the fact that the office was a shambles. Lately, he has become rude and nasty and we have insisted that they find another doctor -- which they are. The wait times are horrific, the office is a mess and the staff for the most part (including Dr. Marenus) is rude.
