Dr. Martin Gelman, MD

Appointment at 2, it’s now 3:40, still haven’t been seen. They messed up my knee, screwed up my COVID test, and an overall rude staff.

Dr. Gelman has no idea what he's doing and that's apparant. Has done absolutely nothing for my family member after she's been suffering. Promises to call back and we don't hear back for days, or find out the office closed early. Put her on prescriptions without even telling her what they were and why she was being put on them. We ended up talking to our relative who's in the medical field, as well as going to urgent care, and they BOTH said what she has is LIFE THREATENING! Thanks for nothing Dr. Gelman. I'll be having her see someone else.

I never saw the dr. i called trying to book an appointment as a new patient and after asking several questions and feeling frustrated, his office staff HUNG UP ON ME. apparently he's not seeing anyone until october and they won't schedule you AT ALL. you have to call back in October to see if there's an opening. also, i asked to provide my information or stop by the office with my insurance card and that's when SHE HUNG UP ON ME.

I'm posting for my husband since he is so ill that he can barely sit up let alone type a review of this charleton and his staff. If I could give this poor excuse for a doctor no stars I would! My husband has been suffering for 2 months with a medical condition. He dropped almost 25 lbs and had no energy. After emergency surgery and 3 trips to the ER, Gelman wouldn't see him for 3 weeks! Barely looks at records and takes calls during appointments! Absolutely useless! Better care at minute clinic!

I take some patients to his office. I personally don't see him, however, he is usually quite thorough. I love his office staff!! All very friendly, welcoming and helpful. The only downside is wait times can be long and frustrating!!

Dr. Gelman is one of the few physicians left that take the time to listen to what you have to say and will explain things until you understand. There are times when the wait may be a little longer than I would like but when I am done seeing the doctor I am more than happy with the whole experience with the doctor and staff. I would highly recommend Dr. Gelman.
