Dr. Martin Fiala, MD

Dr. Fiala did my husbands knee replacement in February 2021, I knew he was who I was going to have do mine. His office and Staff in Winchester are professional and caring. Once we decided the replacement was the best solution, he explained everything thoroughly and he made sure to answer all my questions. We scheduled it right away, January 2024, no long wait period, that made me feel better. I would recommend Dr. Fiala to anyone need orthopedic surgery, or just an amazing Orthopedic doctor!!

Dr. Fiala and his staff have been very easy to work with. Dr. Fiala provided top notch care before and after my latest procedure (total knee replacement), as well as the two prior procedures he did for me (a rotator cuff repair and a meniscus tear repair). His staff has been very friendly and easy to deal with. Dr. Fiala is a very straightforward individual. This is a quality I value and find to be quite rare these days. He didn’t sugarcoat my diagnosis, the treatment options, or what I was facing during and after any of my procedures. I can’t stress how much this was important to me!

He was attentive, answered all my questions, he tells it like it is, explained what to expect. I wasn't sure about surgery, but I knew it had to be and I was putting it off for years. After deciding this was for me, I'm glad I did it. My experience with Dr Fiala and his team, and the hospital, and physical therapy, all went smoothly, everything made easy for me. I definitely would recommend Dr. Fiala.

Dr. Fiala did excellent job on my knee replacement. He helped me where I could manage to walk again! Recovery was fast with therapy. If I ever need orthopedic care again, it will be with Dr.Fiala.

I had taken a serious fall and shattered my wrist in June of 2021. I was directed to Dr. Fiala for my prognosis. Coincidentally enough, my son had a similar scenario with his wrist several years before my accident. He went to a top Orthopedic Surgeon in Charlotte, NC who ended up putting all kinds of screws and a plate in his wrist. Dr. Fiala avoided all of that and was able to eliminate having any screws or plates in my wrist. Every physical therapist I have gone to has been impressed with the surgical outcome. I can't thank Dr. Fiala enough for getting my wrist back to a place where I thought it would never be.

Dr. Fiala spent time with me answering questions and making sure I had all the information I needed to make my decision. He did not push one way or the other. He allowed me to choose. Ricky (his assistant) was fantastic in making sure all the paperwork was taken care of and answered any questions I had. They are a great team and are very compassionate during the process. It's scary(and painful) to have a joint replaced- they were extremely helpful the entire way. I really appreciate them!

Dr Fiala was an awesome Dr from the moment I met him till the day he said I didn't need a return visit . Dr Fiala was a down to earth person and very knowledgeable when I had questions . Best Dr I've ever met and can't say thank you enough for helping me.

Dr. Fiala treated my rotator cuff. He repaired my right shoulder in 2015 and repaired my left shoulder in 2021. Both times, he was great. He discusses your options, explains the situation, and is very helpful. I asked additional technical questions about my shoulder and the surgery and he took the time to explain to me the situation. I would HIGHLY recommend.

was there over an hour & never received any care When his assistant called me back he ask me why I was there ask me couple questions. Fiala came in the room he never touched me or examined me in any way he did not even want to discuss why I was there he came in started by saying you need to loose weight kept going on& on about how many calories a day I should be eating etc.(I wasn't there for a weight consult)& if the reason I was there had been acknowledge I would't even mention it. But he kept on & on about weight loss so I tried to ask about the issue I had come for & was trying to tell him what my primary care DR had said & she thought I needed MRI Fiala did not want to discuss the issue he said Mri would just show if Cartilage is missing would waste of time, stated no Dr wants to help people as heavy as you said good luck & walked out of room so fyi don't waste your time just find another Dr.he should have just said up front he doesn't treat if your overweight not wasted my time.

Prompt courteous service and sterile environment. Dr. Fiala is very knowledgeable and treats patients with attention to concerns to find the proper solution to their concerns. I have had three surgeries with this physician and continue to seek his council with any orthopedic issues .
