Gaslighted...
This is not the doctor to see if you have anything other than a cold. When first arriving to the office, I was pleased with the quiet, mostly empty waiting room. I was even called back with the nurse very soon after arriving. The nurse was a little insensitive, but that's beside the point. Dr. Alumno came into my room a few minutes before my official appointment. He seemed friendly enough, and made me think he was going to actually help me. He listened to my situation, asked questions, ordered the normal bloodwork, And said we will go from there. I believe my time with him was around 15 mins. Id like to think I had serious concerns, and I waited and waited after my bloodwork came back, like surely he will call? But over half a year later, obviously I was of no importance to him, probably slipped his mind right after he walked me out. Even if he was unable to help me, Could he not have referred me to someone? I have better experience taking my pets to the Vet.

Takes the care of healthcare
My grandma has been seeing this doctor for years as her primary care. After telling her she was going to be insulin dependent and knowing her sugars were way too high, he sent her on her way without an insulin prescription which landed her in the hospital due to uncontrolled sugars. She was then released to see him the next day. He prescribed 2 insulins for her. He sent one to the local pharmacy and one to mail order which would take several days to even arrive at her house. I spent 2 hours on the phone calling the pharmacy, mail order, and the doctor trying to get the prescription. His office told me they were going to be leaving early, so they likely wouldn’t send the prescription to the pharmacy. A prescription that was already written, but they couldn’t take the time to hit send and transmit it to the pharmacy because leaving early that day was more important than taking a very short moment to send in a life sustaining medication that she has been doing without thanks to him.

He works 2 1/2 days a week. It is impossible to get an appointment with him and he has absolutely zero appointments after 3:30, doesn't work at all on Friday's. I am switching doctors. He is nice and pleasant, but he doesn't spend much time with you and you will not get your questions fully answered. Absolutely love his nurse, spent a lot of time with her, and will miss her.

I call him the 30 second doctor. Bedside manners are extremely poor. Very little eye contact and not compassionate whatsoever. I must say at age 44 I've never experienced such a thing especially with the price financially you pay to see him. His favorite words seem to be "it's just a part of aging " which is not any comfort at all.
