Just starting my journey to combat AML. The reviews are all consistent with my limited exposure thus far. Dr Ohanian is immersed in the world of molecular, genetic, nutritional tools to treat patients and drive this ugly disease into remission and beyond. She doesn’t hold out false hope, but rather is an encouraging realist. She takes time to educate, explain, and listen to questions without any agitation or hurry. I am so thankful this woman is my doctor and my champion for the road ahead. Confidence and outlook play a huge part in health and wellness, paired with state-of-the-art treatment regimes, I’m hopeful to recover as many quality years as I can.

Dr. Ohanian is a very intelligent, skilled, and caring doctor. She not only explains things in terms you can understand, she actualky cared enough to give me her personal cell number if needed in emergencies. She even called me after hours and on the weekend just to make sure I had the right medications and was not was having pain or problems. I’m very blessed to have her as my doctor.

Overall rating: 100%. Dr. Ohanian is caring, polite, smart, understanding, listens well, patient, excellent bedside manner and up-to-date on the latest in her field. The best ambassador MDA has to offer. I live in Florida and travel to see Dr. Ohanian because she is the best you can find. Too bad there isn't a 10-star rating available. She and her team ensure that my visits are well-managed and I well-cared for.

My first interaction with Dr. Ohanian was for a second opinion. After my first appointment with her, she became my primary oncologist. Dr. Ohanian immediately put me at ease by explaining anything I had a question about. When my primary care physician did not follow up with her, she made sure to contact him so they could communicate. In addition to treating my cancer, she seems genuinely concerned with not only my overall physical health, but my mental health too.

I have been a patient of Dr Ohanian for 3 years in the treatment of leukemia initially once a week and now every 3 months. I was previously treated for prostrate and melanoma cancer by other physicians and she is by far the most conscientious, caring and knowledgeable. She takes the time to fully explain test results and treatment and follows up via phone calls and emails as to my well being, both medically and emotionally. I am amazed at how dedicated and genuine she is with all patients.

Dr. Ohanian is the most caring, patient-oriented, thorough doctor I have ever had. Her knowledge within her field is excellent, her energy is unbelievable, her desire to do what is best for her patients is exceptional, and her follow-through is dependable. My struggles with leukemia have been made so much easier due to Dr. Ohanian. She is supportive, understanding, positive, and encouraging. She has empathy for her patients.

I have had 2 different cancers in 2 years, my second was AML and Dr. Ohanian is my primary for it. When y0u are diagnosed with Cancer the amount of doctors you have on your team are numerous and I must say that I have felt the most comfortable with Dr. Ohanian. She puts extra time in to making sure you know what is going on, are comfortable with what is happening to you and have understanding of it as well. She TRULY cares about your well being. Your being positive is so important. She helps

Dr. Ohanian is by far THE most dedicated physician (not just oncologist) that I've ever had in my life. There aren't many doctors (I've only had one other, which was my PCP) that give you their cell phone numbers to contact them directly with problems and concerns. Her bedside manner is above and beyond, and she truly believes in evaluating the WHOLE patient. There is nothing more comforting than receiving daily phone calls from your oncologist while you're hospitalized 200 miles away.
