Dr. Marlo Van Steyn, MD

This was my third ganglion sister removal. It was the most painful pre surgery, and I was somewhat apprehensive since the other two were done by another surgeon. The first surgery the other surgeon did was fine and I still have complete use of the digit. The second surgery an absolute fiasco, and I am partially crippled with a finger that doesn’t allow me to do what I was able to do before (piano, pottery, even using a keyboard) so I was reluctant to have surgery on yet this new and painful ganglion cyst. Dr. Marlo Van Steyn has perfect bedside manner And Her work is excellent. I’ve had very little pain and I doubt if I will have much of a visible scar. I can’t say enough good things about Dr. Van Steyn. I would strongly recommend her to anybody for hand surgery

If I could give her 10 stars I would! I had surgery on my left hand and the whole experience was amazing! She is very thorough, caring, with exceptional abilities. My pain level went from a 9 to a 2 after surgery and continues to improve. Can’t say enough about Dr. Van Steyn, I highly recommend her, she is truly awesome!

I had trigger finger release surgery recently. What an incredibly easy experience this was. Absolutely no pain, wonderful surgeon with a fun personality. Such professionalism and care. If ever needed again, I will contact Dr. Van Steyn’s office right away. PIECE-O-CAKE!

Dr. Van Steyn was very personal and professional and was able to explain all of my options prior to my decision for surgery. She explained what was happening during surgery and I felt comfortable with her and her staff from my initial visit through my post-op appointment. My only concern was that no one other than the person who removed my stitches actually looked at the incision during the post-op appointment.

She is very kind, thoughtful and very thorough in her explanations. I have had great results. Thanks!

She was professional and extremely well informed on the subject of Dupuytren’s. Treatment with cortisone injections proved to be very successful. Hope to schedule more injections soon.

Returned to Dr Van Steyn due to arthritis in right wrist….she had successfully relieved the same painful condition in left hand a few years ago.She and her entire office and surgical teams are excellent and comfortable to talk to and explain details. Post surgery one week and all is going great.Would recommend Dr Van Steyn to anyone with wrist or hand pain.

Dr. Van Steyn spent a lot of time explaining the carpal tunnel surgery and recovery. Friendly and professional.

Dr Van Styne did a great job. She and her staff were very helpful and kind. My whole experience was excellent.

When I was having trouble moving my fingers and numbness in my arm she was able to order the appropriate test to diagnose my condition of carpel tunnel, trigger finger, and cubital tunnel. After surgery it eliminated my numbness in my arm and a cortisone shot helped my trigger finger. Most recently I had difficulty opening other fingers. I was diagnosed with additional fingers having trigger finger and two additional cortisone shots were administered. Dr. Van Steyn has been knowledgeable, answers my questions, and companionate with me.
