Pathetic
Called and asked me to come in sooner. I get there just to sit and wait until the time I was scheduled smh. And walks in and says she can’t help me. Says she reviewed my chart, I’m fine, maybe I could go see someone else. Wouldn’t let me speak and kept cutting me off. Refused to do an exam or testing. Then she goes on and types up a whole novel of LIES about how I refused to accept what she said, and refused treatment? She literally made it clear I needed to leave because she was not going to do anything for me. Then she tried to put in my chart that it’s just anxiety and affective disorder? I don’t even have that condition!!! And my anxiety isn’t treated because it’s not even a problem for me! She is a pathetic liar. She has no emotions. She purposely yells over you and insults you so you get mad, and she can say you’re the problem. I reported her a week ago and they still will not call me regarding her behavior. Funny how you have awful reviews on every site. Coincidence?

Don't waste your time
I waited over 4 months for this appointment. Two days before my appointment I received a call saying she was cancelling due to weather. Offered me a video visit. I explained that I was to have a complete neurological exam . The person on the phone said I see you are diagnosed with neuropathy. There is no cure. I was told I could reschedule for April... another 3 month wait! I contacted Cleveland Clinic. Being seen in 5 weeks!!

I was a patient at UPMC Shenango Valley ED with onset of leg paralysis, numbness & ataxia, given a diagnosis of acute transverse myelitis due to MS, though I am only 19 years old. This came as a total shock to myself & family, Dr. Marlene Bednar arrived for an emergency consult, thoroughly examined me, answered all of my questions & treated me with compassion, tenderness & dignity. She immediately started a course of IV steroids & now I can walk again! I'll be starting long-term MS therapy soon

She was rude and condescending to my daughter who had been referred to her for possible MS. At one point she and her nurse were discussing my daughter as if she wasn't in the room (my daughter is 29 without mental defect). I said excuse me but my daughter is feeling as though you are calling ger a liar. The doctor's reply was, then I don't think I can help you. My daughter walked out in frustration. I then said, if you were to let her know you want to work with her to find the problem...
