Do not use this doctor. He does not follow up timely, he lies about making calls to other doctors on your case, but doesn’t. He is blunt in his diagnosis and treatment. No empathy at all. You will wait and wait to hear from him, and the call doesn’t come. He should not practice medicine.

August 18 2020 6pm. Tomorrow will be one week since my husbands pet scan, without a call from Dr Zimmerman. We are extremely anxious. I do not believe in this pandemic Dr Zimmerman is overcome with office visits at this time as he is seeing one patient in an empty office. I am sick worrying about my husbands results. I have heard disturbing things about him and his office practices. No follow up calls, rude office reps. All we want is a call, please doctor.

Dr was very businesslike. I had to make a change to meds. Called 3 times, it's been MORE THAN A WEEK, and staff hasn't given me the courtesy of a reply! D-

Dr. Zimmerman was recommended by my cardiologist to treat a lung fibrosis. Had me tested for lung capacity, high altitude test to see if I could fly in an airplane. Suggested that I have a lung biopsy to confirm diagnosis and prescribed Esberit to manage my condition. His office and nursing staff are most professional and his time spent with me and explanation of my condition was most professional. He is a 10 plus physician. In addition I am aware that he is embedded in the hospital saving lives. Thank you Dr. Zimmerman.

I went to Dr. Zimmerman for an uncontrollable cough and fatigue. He was rude from the get go. Cut me off when I started to talk. Showed no concern, acted like I was bothering him. He sent me down for a lung function test during which I became a little dizzy and asked to lie down. He immediately told his staff to call 911 and had me sent to the emergency room. I have since learned that it is normal to feel dizzy during or after this breathing test. That many facilities have a place for patients to lie down after it. His unnecessary and reactive decision ended up costing me a lot of money to find out I had a bad case of Bronchitis. Meanwhile, he charged me $379 for the five minute visit I had with him.

Front desk woman totally rude. Dr was completely rushed like he was going to miss a plane or something. Didn’t take a history. I had to tell him the pertinent details because he didn’t bother to ask. Lame physical exam which was under a minute. I’m pissed he’s going to bill my insurance and get paid. Don’t recommend at all.

Very poor doctor. Does not listen, undermines your issues and has horrible bedside manner. He put me on medication just for the sake of it and didn’t actually help me. I’ve since switched to a different pulmonologist and have been doing much better.

Office staff was pleasant, but Dr. Zimmerman was rude and arrogant. Never have I ever been spoken to in such a condescending manner and made to feel like a complete bother by another doctor. Judging by the other patients in the waiting room, this is Dr. Zimmerman's normal disposition. This was my first, and certainly my last, visit.

I visited Dr Zimmerman recently and he was thorough, knowledgeable, experienced and very professional. His staff also should be commended as they too reflect his absolute care of his patient. I felt I was in good hands with Dr Zimmerman and trust him to the enth degree. In my short time at his office I can say with no reservations that I would highly recommend DrZimmerman

Dr. Zimmerman is a rare Doctor. He cares about you and listens. After listening to all my symptoms, thoroughly going over my health history, a physical examination and looked over all my prior test results he knew exactly what was wrong with me & what we need to keep a close eye on. He took his time explaining everything to all my questions without rushing me. I feel confident I am in the right hands.
