Went in for a loud... Very loud pop in my my knee, a long with weight bearing pain and numbness in toes. Pain in back left side of left knee down left side as well. Was told it was like hitting a funny bone, or popping a knuckle. Was offered crutches and a knee immobilizer and it was stated I denied them. Offered no imaging. Was told it would be gone tomorrow. Proceeded to put in my file I ambulated out of ER without a limp and I know the cameras show otherwise. When I asked for a patient advocate his remarks were defensive 'did I say something to insult your or do anything wrong? Did I not explain anything right' I still never saw the patient advocate. I am on two blood pressure medications and my BP when I left was 168 107 I saw it. When I arrived it was 148 101... It's been running 108 80... My BP meds are working, I genuinely had pain. I was sent on my way. I would have been happy with something for inflammation at the very least. 0 stars if I could

I took my 20 year niece to Holy Family Providence hospital at 11:30pm on a Thursday evening. It was 4:10am on Friday, when we were finally taken back. Dr. Whitman didn't want to or care to listen to her issues. She was having pains in her chest, difficulty breathing at times, very sore and scratchy throat with feelings of it being hot. Told the Triage nurse these issues along with one other one. Dr. Whitman for one, told me he didn't want to hear another word from me, as I am trying to help describe what my niece has been telling us. Like the other review, Dr. Whitman didn't care. He wanted to get us in and get us out. Take 2 IB's for pain, follow up with your doctor, Oh I guess I can do an xray. Spokane, get a new ER DR THAT WILL LISTEN AND ACTUALLY CARE ABOUT THE PATIENT.

We saw Dr. Whitman in the ER when my husband was having heart palpitations. Dr. Whitman was very helpful and encouraging, but was also careful to do multiple tests to confirm his diagnosis. He put our minds at ease, and we left feeling grateful for his expertise. Thank you, Dr. Whitman.

He was awesome. He took his time and explained exactly what he thought was going on with my health. He was kind, polite, and exceptionally bright. As a healthcare worker myself, I really appreciated his honesty. He listens very well.
