Dr. Mark White, DO

I was a patient at OrthoNeuro for over 18 months dealing with spine issues. Originally Dr White passed me off to Dr Reynolds after my first visit with OrthoNeuro. I saw Reynolds for 18 months and had many unsuccessful and short lived relief procedures that would take months to get approved and scheduled. On my final visit with Dr Reynolds I asked for a referral to a pain doctor since they refuse to treat the pain with any medicine between visits and asked why he never gave that option prior. His response was that i never said i was in pain. My response was, 'why am i here?' He then said he had nothing else to try and surgery was the only option left. He then scheduled me an appointment with Dr White. I showed up to see Dr White. He told me he couldn't do the surgey because I was too big for it (I gained close to 100lbs being mostly bed ridden for 18 months). He walked out and refused to talk. I have since found better doctors, pain control, lost 120lb, and planning a future.

I went to him for help, all he saw was a fat guy he couldn't get rid of quick enough. Said 'I don't have tools big enough to work on you' offered to refer me to a doctor at OSU that 'works on large people ' I have nothing good to say about him. All the other staff I interacted with was very friendly and polite.

Dr White is friendly, efficient and very knowledgeable. I trust him and would refer friends or family if needed

Efficient, surgery went well, organized, listens to the patient and creates a plan to get you better.

Dr. White seemed to listen to what I had to say. This is very important because, frankly, many medical professionals do not. We met briefly for an initial consultation, at which he ordered additional testing and PT evaluation. After our next appointment, I will gave a better idea of his medical expertise and bedside manner, but so far so good. I was not displeased and am encouraged to have been treated with respect and understanding. His willingness to listen was a breath of fresh air.

Did not have to wait long. Dr. White seemed to be in a hurry. He did answer questions when I asked one after another.

I met his PA first who was very personable and meshed with me well. We got me some diagnostics I think I've probably needed for a long time. Second visit was with Dr. White himself and while he wasn't at all rude or unkind, it did feel a little rushed and I didn't feel like I was given as much detail or time for questions as I usually like to have. Very different from his PA. I know many patients prefer this style, but as I prefer to have a detailed conversation about results, there may be a personality mismatch. Also treatments offered seemed a bit drastic to leap to as a first resort. A less invasive option was agreed upon after I brought it up.

It's been 5.5 months since surgery. It's amazing how well I have healed. I have my life back and I'm looking forward to doing activities that I love. Already hiking pain free!

I'll be honest, wasn't a fan of Dr White in the beginning, but this doctor has earned my trust and respect. He has now preformed two different surgeries on me. He has fixed my neck, two discs replaced and it feels better already in less than a year. Recently he did a right S.I. fusion, three weeks after surgery and its already showing a huge improvement. Much respect given to Dr White, he has helped improve life. Thank you...

Never feel that I have limited time to discuss my pain issues. Dr. White truly wants to help his patients achieve a better quality of life.

Everything so thought out . Pre to post op ! Always returns calls and quick wait time at visits !

Short wait time. Nice staff. Dr White was punctual and easy to speak to, and a better listener than some medical professionals. We went over my x-rays and discussed next steps, but decision was mutual. Altogether, I felt he was interested in helping me.

He listened had a great check list on condition and did an excellent job in relieving my nerve pain through a laminectomy and appropriate steroids.

I have not had my surgery yet as I have an infection. I was upset at first because my surgery had to be cancelled until that cleared up. I was looking forward to eventually having some relief from the pain & the numbness in my predominate arm. DR White & his secretary Tammy were very patient with me & explained the dangers of having surgery with an infection. After my initial reaction of an 'ugly cry', I knew that they were right & that eventually the surgery will happen. I have full faith in Dr White to have my best interest at heart. I believe that I will be in Great hands for my surgery. It is hard to not have anxiety before a complex surgery, but I feel very comforted by DR White & Tammy that I will have that light at the end of the tunnel soon.

We went over all my questions and concerns. No pushing me into anything. My husband had a medical emergency when we were about to leave and the doctor and 2 staff helped get him down to the ER. Thank you!

Dr. White is talented, understanding and humble. He preformed a disc fusion on my husband (c4-c5). He was very easy to speak to, made sure we understood and answered our questions. He’s not typical. He made us feel like we were in the presence of a close family friend. My husband’s surgery has only been since early August. He has healed from the actual surgery. We are just waiting for the disc to fuse and to see if the decompression will allow his body to go back to the way it once was. We are grateful we don’t have to worry about paralysis now. May God Bless Dr. White. We are truly blessed to have found him.

I am also a surgeon. Dr. White observed that I was walking with significant discomfort at the hospital. He promptly worked up the problem and provided excellent surgical care with an excellent outcome. I am extremely grateful. Any negative reviews are likely secondary to unreasonable expectations. I would absolutely return to Dr. White for future needs and he also has a tremendous reputation with all those who work directly with him.

Very prompt to the time of my appointments! Greatly appreciated and very rare in the medical profession these days! Listens and provides good feedback for my understanding! I am walking due to Dr. White’s competencies!! Truly a God send and I am very grateful!!! 100% plus recommend!

I saw Dr. White was able to set appointment quickly and get my treatment on the ball. He was very polite and said things in motion same day.

I had 3 vertebrae fused and cleaned out with minimal pain and suffering. I am able to walk or stand again better and longer than I could the day of my surgery and getting better every day.
