As has always been the case, my most recent appointment with Dr. .Vives reaffirmed why I have confidence in the treatment I receive from the practice. He's a caring man whose approach to medicine reassuring. I come from a family of physicians, and he would fit in quite well.

Dr. Vives is very thorough, he takes time to examine and explain in detail his prognosis. I highly recommend Dr.Vives.

It was my 6 month checkup. We went over some test results which Dr. Vive explain in detail. He went over my blood pressure improvements with changes made to my treatment. Dr. Vives take time with his patients and explains things and details and why these things need to be done. He listens to your concerns and always answers your questions.

Dr, Vives consistently demonstrates his skills as a clinician. He also clearly understands the emotional component in treating patients and is extremely respectful in his manner at all times. He answers all questions in painstaking detail. We have every confidence in him as our doctor

Dr. Vives was the one who discovered my PVCs after my initial visit over 12 years ago. Through these past years Dr. Vives has been a staunch advocate for my heart health and continued cardiac care. He, as well as all staff members at VA Heart take their time during appointments, and in all these years I have never left an appointment felling as though I didn't understand the next steps for moving forward with my heart health. Dr. Vives is awesome, he always has a calm demeanor about him and treats the patient with respect and listens well. He even remembered to ask me how I did on a long bicycle ride I was planning last time we spoke, so that was impressive. He is encouraging me to lose more weight with the goal of getting off my meds and the need for a CPAP. I actually enjoy my visits with him and feel like I'm getting great care. We just had a TeleMed appointment because of the COVID-19 situation and our FaceTime appt went very well. Great doctor!
