Dr. Mark Sehgal, MD

We were referred to him by another dr and when asked why we were there I told him what the other dr said. He held up his hand and said “let me stop you right there” before I even finished talking. He said the other dr (who is a craniofacial certified surgeon) “shouldn’t have told you anything since he is not an ENT, that’s my area”. This man raised his voice at me and proceeded to tell me that as a parent I should listen to what he says instead of someone who doesn’t have the training he does or my daughter may not be here (meaning she would die). He told me “you can complain to admin if that’s what you think you should do”. He said “I hate when visits go like this”. How many of these visits has he had? I had concerns I tried to address with him but was shut down because “that’s not what he studied “. He suggested my daughter take a nasal spray for the rest of her life and the reason the it hasn’t helped already is because she was not leaning her head upside down to put it in.

He only got one star because I can't leave him zero stars. When I went for sleep problems he walked into the room and told me he would write me a script for gastric bypass and not see me until then because he knew my weight was causing horrible sleep problems. He never cared that I had a huge amount of medical problems that were causing my weight gain. He said it was all just excuses. Even the steroids. Would not recommend him to my worst enemy. BTW, after a sleep study he was proven wrong. Had an appt with my small son after that, because I didn't recognize the name, and when we went he took the opportunity to run me down to my son. When he did see my son he diagnosed him with severe gerd. An endoscopy also proved this to be entirely false.

Great doctor! Very friendly and very knowledgeable! He treated me, my mom and both of my kids! I would recommend him to anyone!

He done wonderful with our little girl. He was on call when we needed him. He did a really good job ...
