Dr. Mark Schwendiman, DO

I called to speak with his nurse regarding an issue and was able to get an appt. quickly. He recommended an OTC solution and also ordered a prescription but warned me it was expensive. He said if it was too expensive, there were other forms of the same prescription available and that blood tests could be performed as well. I called back to say the OTC product didn't work and the prescription was expensive, so I would like another form of that prescription. His nurse called me back and when I brought these issues up, his nurse relayed his comment that if I couldn't afford the prescription, the blood work was also expensive so there wasn't any point in pursuing other remedies. I couldn't believe he ignored my concerns and basically blew me off when during the prior office visit he specifically told me there were other ways to find something that worked. I won't be going back, and will be going to another more caring, concerned and empathetic dermatologist for a second opinion.
