Great Experience
I ruptured my Achilles tendon 3 months ago playing basketball. So glad I was referred to Dr. Schwartz. He gave me a thorough exam and explanation of my injury and promptly scheduled me for surgery a few days later. I am now back to running on the treadmill. Great result!

Horrible
Doctor needs more manners! Hope he reads this and is enlightened, but I highly doubt it after meeting with him. Brought my own films from so Jersey radiology. Told me they were garbage. His office took their own x-rays prob showing same thing but anyways. Within six mintue visit in exam room. His words exactly.... I'm gonna cut to the chase, your bone on bone, you need knee replacement, and I'm gonna recommend barbaric surgery as well. So I guess this is his style of practice. Come in drop the bomb, open up that wound and pour salt in there!! All with words and within six minutes! Bravo a real humanitarian! Why did you take the oath to become a doctor??????? $$$$obviously!!! Don't trust! Btw got 2nd opinion... second doc said no knee replacement.

Dr Schwartz was very rushed & condescending. Within five minutes time which is all that he spent with me, he asked me if I work (three times), why I don't work, what I did when I worked, didn't explain what my x-ray showed or have the decency to discuss my injury. Simply took out a long syringe and started filling it without even discussing what he thought should be done. He has no bedside manner and I wouldn't recommend him to my worst enemy!

Dr. Schwartz saw me for a work-related knee injury as a second opinion. At my request, he took over my care and solved my problem that had been misdiagnosed and mistreated by my first physician. He did a "great job" in getting me back to work. I recommend him highly. GREA DOC!

Rude, condescending, ignored my symptoms, ignored my PT telling him something was really wrong, & manhandled my injured leg. If I could give him zero stars, I would. He claimed I had a sprain - turns out I have a permanent nerve disorder & he ignored EVERY warning.

I had a broken collar bone. He saw me the day after I got home from the accident. Dr Schwartz is very professional, caring and understanding. He scheduled me for surgery the very next week and gave excellent advice. I would not hesitate to use him again in the future if needed (hopefully I wont need him), and would recommend him highly to others. He has received many top doctor awards which are displayed.

I have been going to Dr. Schwartz for 15 years. He has performed 2 major knee surgeries with great success. He is always very personable, and makes sure you understand the issue from your perspective. He has treated every issue I have ever presented--without fail. You will leave his office with solid plan and a thorough understanding of what to expect on your future visit.

Dr. Mark is ready to start fixing your problem at the lowest level first. After a couple of visits if it doesn't seem to be working he takes it to the next level to try to fix it. Very good doctor.

Regarding my previous comment I am pleased to report that Dr. Schwartz's office voluntarily refunded my co-pay after I communicated to him in writing. It seems he and his office listened and responded accordingly. Kudos.

On July 22, 2016 I wrote a very negative review regarding my visit to Dr. Mark G. Schwartz. I'd like to give Dr. Schwartz a follow up review. Dr. S and I have had a chance to speak, and I am satisfied that the feelings that my granddaughter and I left with was a combination of unintended acts on his part and my being on high emotional alert due to my 7yr olds injury. His treatment and suggested follow-up was accurate. Thank you Dr. S for reaching out to me in order to rectify our differences.

Dr. Schwartz has been taking care of my 3 kids ever since my husband was transferred to this area 5 years ago. With three kids active in sports, we have his office on "speed dial". Whenever one of them gets hurt, it is never a problem getting them seen in the office on short notice. His partner Dr. Bowers is also great, as well as the two physician assistants that work with them. Friendly office staff. We just got finished with a broken wrist that healed without any issues. So glad we found them

Dr. Schwartz is rude and condesending. Spends limited time with you, talks over you and only listens to speak does not listen to hear what you're saying. No bedside manner. Loud and obnoxious. This Dr. tried to look into my personal notebook b/c I was taking notes during the visit and he wanted to know what I had written. He never explains his reasoning, basically, he talks, you listen and he sends you on your way. I have never had such a bad experience..visited several times, each time awful.

I was a patient of his for a rotator cuff injury. He sent me to physical therapy and within a month after experiencing torture at NovaCare he did notice he had to undergo surgery. He found a tear and during pre and post surgery he really did care. However, with his moving to another office, his staff was very demeaning and didn't care sending corrected RX to Physical Therapy, several times. I had the impression his staff or physical therapy feared him and had little communicate with him.
