Spindle Cell Sarcoma-stage 3- right collar bone
Came to Dr. Scarborough in January 1996, tumor was about the size of a grapefruit and located behind my right collar bone, sitting on top of my lung. He set up radiation, and surgical treatment plan all in one day. He was so professional and confident, that I knew right away that I was in the right place. After we shrunk it down to golf ball size with radiation, After surgery, he and his staff checked in on me everyday. After physical therapy I was back to work at the saw mill, living a normal life again. symmetrically for years you could not even tell that my right clavicle,3 ribs and whatever he rearranged to put everything back to working again. Its been about 30 years and thank God, for sending me to Dr. Scarborough. The whole experience was truly God sent, and my family and I will be forever thankful. His expertise and compassion made a difference in my life. He didn't just treat my illness, he treated me as a person, and for that, I am forever grateful. Thank you, God Bless.

Could not ask for a better doctor and team
i could not sing the praises of DR. Scarborugh any louder. such a professional doctor, and team. they are very thorough doctor. very kind and explains everything step by step. He does not rush you during appointments. while in the hospital, he comes every day and ensured your comfort and progress. In surgery he explains what is going to happen, in a kind, gentle manner.

If I could give 5 stars to just the office staff I would because Dr Scarborough definitely does not deserve them. He had plenty of time to review my chart from my Orthopedic Surgeon. I was told he will look over my medical records and if he decides to take the case that his office staff will call me to make an appointment. Well they called me and said "Dr Scarborough said he would be happy to take on your case." Well we drove 6hrs round trip and here's the kicker, he was in and out in 10 mins max and he never even examined me, didn't lay a single finger on me. He knew the whole time he wasn't gonna take the case as I broke down and began to sob like a baby begging him to help me. He said "I wish you the best of luck and hope you get to feeling better soon" Oh and he based his decision off a 4mth old MRI. He didn't even wanna get a new one.

Amazing Physician and surgeon
Referred to him for an undifferentiated pleomorphic sarcoma. He and his staff gave me the most compassionate and excellent care. Still see every 90 days for follow up. No one wants cancer but couldn't have a better Doctor on your team to beat it

I can't imagine there being a better oncologist than Dr. Scarborough. He is a brilliant doctor with an equally brilliant support staff. He took time to thoroughly answer all my questions and explain all available options. We were also seen by his fellow, Dr. Eugene Jang. This young man is scary smart and his future shines bright. I hope YOU are lucky enough to retain Dr. Scarborough.

I went to four orthopedic doctors over the course of three years before Dr. Scarborough and he was the one to finally diagnose me with bone cancer. Three weeks after I was diagnosed, I had leg reconstruction surgery and another chance to live life normally. Him, his team and Shands are nothing short of miracle workers and I am eternally grateful.
