Dr Rasmussen is a great anesthesiologist
Dr Rasmussen was my anesthesiologist at UASC La Jolla for my two shoulder rotator cuff surgeries in 2022. He did nerve blocks at my neck during both surgeries with ultrasound assistance. Nerve blocks lasted 26 hours and 16 hours respectively after the surgeries during which times I was pain free.. and with that type of help I did not take any pain medication afterwards… He came and discussed the procedure with me before the surgery and put me at ease. We do not get to interact with anesthesiologists as a patient a lot, but the silent results of his work has been great and I greatly recommend him to other patients.
