Exceptional Eye Doctor
The assistant was professional, compassionate, and an expert at her craft.Dr. Patron made us feel comfortable. He explained everything clearly, answered questions directly and made me feel that he had my health as top priority not pushing surgery or just agreeing to make the patient happy.A top doctor. They are hard to come by.

Compassionate, Knowledgeable Doctor
For me eyesight is everything. I could not imagine the rigors of not having it. Twice now, Dr Patron has saved my eyesight through his extraordinary surgical expertise. I am thankful each and every day for him. For without him, I could not see my grandchildren as they grow up, or the oranges and pinks of the sun fading over the mountains, the adventures of characters in books, so many things. He has my trust always. His staff has always been friendly, helpful and efficient in all my interactions with them. It’s nice to walk into smiles and a supportive environment.

First visit to discuss retinal tear found at my annual eye exam. Very impressed by Dr. Patron's thorough examination and explanation of why my tear healed itself and that I would not need further treatment for this problem. Also discussed macular degeneration and set up appointment for followup. Staff very professional and caring. I strongly recommend Dr. Patron for patients who have retinal and related eye issues.

Dr. Patron has operated on my left eye 4 times. I had a very severe detachment. He is no doubt the best eye surgeon anywhere, and he is also caring and personable. I have had many followup visits even though the last surgery was now about 6 years ago. He takes the time to check up with me, and always has time to answer any questions I have. He cares about everything in my life, and wants to be sure everything is fine. I would highly recommend him to anyone who needs help with a retina. He is the best.

Doc – Nov 10, 2019

I had an awful experience with an intravitreal injection; Patron's assistant apparently did not get all of the betadine out of my eye, and I suffered excruciating pain for about 16 hrs. Neither their triage person, their after-hrs. doctor, nor Patron had any empathy for me and poo-pooed my futile pleas for help. On the phone the next day, Patron did listen to my story but said that out of 200 injections given by their practice that day, I was the only one who had had a problem and that this was the best they could do. The fact is that this experience is relatively rare for patients and they had made a mistake. I told Patron that if this was the best they could do--it wasn't good enough. I have had one other such injection and had much better treatment. Won't let him touch me again.
