Dr. Mark Paiste, DO

Dr. Paiste did 2 surgeries for me. One on my left hand and another on my right. Both surgeries came out great and my hands are much better than they were before the surgery.Dr. Paiste always comes in with a smile to every appointment. He’s very pleasant and you can tell he genuinely cares. I’ve had to drive an hour to each appointment but it’s completely worth it to see Dr. Paiste.You can tell he’s very experienced and very knowledgeable. I felt confident with doctor Paiste .The desk clerks and people who answer the phones need some improvement.Overall, highly recommend.

Was there recently. With injuries & pain from car accident. Almost 2 hours of paperwork with one very small section related to a car accident! RIDICULOUS! In walks Dr. Paiste. I felt like he had no regard for my injuries. He made me feel like I was wasting his time! He barely takes the time to ask me any questions related to the accident! Forget about giving me, what I feel, is an appropriate exam, considering what happened to me in the accident & my age! Then gets my age WRONG making me 10 years OLDER than I actually am! I'm the one that took almost 2 hours to fill out YOUR paperwork. Did you even bother to glance at ? Never once called me by name. I filled out my birthday, including the year several times , now YOU make ME feel this way? Unbelievable! That attitude seemed to resonate throughout the whole staff , the outer office was just as bad! No people skills. With the exception of the guy that took me back and took the initial info. He was GREAT! Loved him. He made my day!

My experience with Dr. Paiste was great. I smashed my finger in a car door. He knew exactly what to do. Recommended against stitches and was confident in how to proceed. Today my finger is just fine and I’ll always be thankful for Dr. Paiste’s care. Highly recommended, brilliant physician.

I am currently seeing Dr Paiste for a issues with my wrist. I’m not sure why these patients had a bad experience because each visit with me he takes the time to explain why he is ordering whatever is needed for my recovery. And also does a full exam. He is very patient and has excellent bed side manners. Please don’t let these previous comments change your mind about scheduling an appointment.

I first saw Dr. Paiste in 2017 for a second opinion after a car accident. My first opinion was that I needed surgery right away. Dr. Paiste did not judge that to be necessary and two years later my thumb is fine, without surgery. I have seen him for a trigger finger and today for a problem with another finger. Dr. Paiste is thorough in his examination and his explanation of the problem and the options. I highly recommend him and am sending my husband to see him for basal joint problems.

Spent 2 minutes with me ordered an MRI never signed or put diagnosis code on paperwork so when I went for the test I couldn’t get it. Also ordered a 2,900.00 pain cream when according to the pharmacist, there was another option that my insurance would cover. Of course this all happened on a Friday so I couldn’t get the cream or the MRI!!! When I went for the MRI I was told by the staff never go to them - they are horrible! Yet that’s where the hospital refers all Orthopedic patients. How ridiculous is that

This is the most incompetent physician I have seen. I presented with numbness and tingling in my R hand digits. He did do do an examination of my hand, or maybe you can say he looked at my hand. However Dr. Paiste never did an exam using any instruments to test the level of numbness, or strength in my hand. This was after he made me sit in the examination room for 20 minutes while he was speaking on his phone for a personal call. No apologies for wasting my time. Go somewhere else!!
