Dr. Mark Overman, MD

I recently drove to Dr.Overman's office to make an appointment.It had been so long since I've seen him that I forgot his name.I knew where his office is.I was not in the system anymore because they only go back 3 years.I would have to wait a month to get an appointment as a new patient.Very helpful for someone who is sick and needs to see a doctor.There were no patients in the waiting area,no cars in the parking lot.I did not expect to be seen that day.I just wanted an appointment to get help.I'm very sorry I don't get sick often enough to be seen.Thanks for all your help. I have been a patient of Dr. Overman’s for 7 years. I usually see Lindsey, his daughter and is a PA. I get very good medical care and feel better now than I did 7 years ago. I now no longer have hypertension, nor high cholesterol. They take care of my hypothyroidism and overall health.

I'm new to Florida and made an appt. with Dr. Overman. After my first visit, I wasn't sure he and I were a good fit, so I made an appt. with a different WellMed doctor. The second visit here, I saw Lindsey. She was very nice and a great listener. Then, I had an extremely urgent situation and saw Dr. Overman for the second time. This time, he was very kind and considerate. I had decided to stay with this office but forgot about my other appt. and did not cancel it. During my urgent appt. I was prescribed a medication that was causing severe headaches, so I discontinued it after 2 days.Twice, I called the office and told them that I needed a different medication called in. No one called me for 8 days! When she did call, I was told to take up my medication change with the new doctor appt. on Dec. 2nd. Obviously, Dr. Overman does not take his Hippocratic Oath very seriously.My situation was very dangerous and he left me unmedicated for days on end! Stay clear, if you want to stay healthy!

Pays attention, listens more than other PCPS i have seen in the past. Have not been stuck waiting in waiting room excessive amounts of time which i appreciate.

Dr. Overman is a huge disappointment. After many years treating both my parents, and there had been ups and downs, but last week broke the camel's back. I can no longer trust he will do what is right and in the best interest of my parents. Providing service sometimes means having to respond when it is less than ideal or in situations that are stressful. Overman cares little for anyone other than Overman.

Dr. Overman seems to be a very competent and quality doctor.I've had problems in Sun City Center finding a General Practitioner/Internist and seem to have found a doctor that fits that bill and has a good bedside,office manner.I'm sure my search is over and I would definetly feel comfortable recommending Dr. Overman to my friends as well as members of my own family.

Very good Family doctor. Goes over your medical records. If you need a speialist, he recommends the best doctor suited for your problem. Been going to himsince 2007. He now has his daughter working for him.

Just started taking my mother to Dr. Overman and he seens very good, pays attention to the patients needs and explains recommendations.

I have been a patient of Dr. Overman for 10 years and have found him to be easy to talk to, a good diagnostician, and accurate in his recommendations. His office staff is friendly, the office very clean, and the wait time has been minimal. My wife also uses him.
