Very thorough
Dr. Neahring listened to my concerns, and asked thoughtful questions that helped me to really explain the details of my problems. Together we discussed what my diagnosis could be, and possible treatment options. I really appreciated that he involved me in the decision making process for my care.

Dr. Neahring really took time to get to know me and what was going on in my life. I liked that he was open to my ideas about what might help me feel better, and he was thorough about explaining how medications might help me.

Very thoughtful. He gave me plenty of time to talk about what was going on in my life. We agreed that therapy and medications would be the best way to treat the problems I was facing.

After our visit we decided that I might not need a medication. He spent some time giving me some supportive therapy and real world advice that I was able to use to start helping myself out of some situations that were causing me so much distress

I was inpatient at CDH. Most arrogant dr i ever met. He did not listen at all and never spent more than 10 min with me. Did not even go through my history and when was asked about my medications was told “thats not possible” well it was i have the script to prove it. Guess Thats why he is an on staff dr. No other way to get patients. No choice in the matter.

Dr. Neahring was incredibly patient, attentive, highly skilled with medication management and most validating of my experience.M, despite some tricky, medically complex issues. I highly recommend him!

Prior to my appointment Dr. Neahring spent time reviewing my records and history. When we met I appreciated I didn't have to tell him everything from scratch. We talked about my diagnosis and what had and hadn't been working for me, and made some adjustments to my medications that turned out to be much more effective than I could have hoped for. My life has really turned around since I've been working with Dr. Neahring.

I first worked with Dr. Neahring after a move and job change. He was empathetic, and asked questions to fully understand my situation. Dr. Neahring consistently uses the most updated, data-driven practices to make his recommendations. He maintained a caring demeanor throughout, and I really felt like he was paying attention and carefully considering my situation. Dr. Neahring presented my options in a way I could easily understand, and kept the lines of communication open when I needed a medication adjustment. I couldn’t ask for more in a psychiatrist!

I had Dr. Neahring during my inpatient stay at CDH and could not be more pleased with my care. He checked in on me every morning, even on a Saturday. During the check in, he would always give me the chance to talk, and would really listen, then involve me in the next steps of my care. Knowledgeable and kind. He always made sure to ask what else he could do to help with my healing process. I would absolutely recommend.

Very young, sometimes arrogant seeming psychiatrist- not sure if he is actually arrogant or if that's just his ultra casual demeanor. Not a bad doctor but not a great one either- asks some really stupid questions and doesn't listen well. I wouldn't recommend him.
