Dr. Mark Messing, MD

I've been seeing Dr. Messing for almost eight years. He has always had the best intentions with my health and to mention Texas Oncology in Bedford is the best facility.

Working with Dr. Messing and his team has been a gift during a long journey back to health. He is an excellent surgeon, and the team goes out of its way to serve you well throughout the whole process of treatment.

Dr. Messing and his entire team are always kind, attentive, professional, and supportive! I just love them all! It’s actually a joy to see them at each appointment.

Dr. Messing was very professional and gave me plenty of time to think of questions I had during my appointments. His answers were always very respectful and honest - even when they were difficult for me to ask, and when I had to call back to ask about something I hadn't thought of during my appointment, his nurse was very prompt and helpful. He was kind in his approach to my treatment which ultimately was a hysterectomy and I felt confident that he knows what he is doing. I completely trusted him with my care and I am very thankful I was able to get in to him. My sister had recommended him to me when I found out I needed to see a gynecology oncologist because she had used him the year before for a hysterectomy. She has all good things to say about him as well.

Very knowledgeable and can explain procedures and expected results clearly. Very prompt at appointment time. His staff are all exceptional and caring.

Dr. Messing is great. He’s been my oncologist since 2011. His staff is awesome also.

Dr. Messing took out a mass from my abdomen and subsequently found some cancer cells. I went thru chemo and he has been very reassuring throughout the whole process. He has explained all test results and future plans. I would highly recommend Dr. Messing (and his staff).

I have been seeing Dr. Messing over the last 7 years. Through my cancer diagnosis, treatment and follow-up, he has been very patient, caring and always seems to listen to and answer my questions and concerns.

He was always asking if I had any questions, and then would answer them!

Dr. Messing was dismissive, condescending and irritated at questions. If you are a woman under 40, find another doctor. I am very surprised Texas Oncologu allows him to represent them.

What I love about Dr. Messing and his staff, is that they always make you feel good about yourself no matter your situation. They are always positive throughout the entire office, including front staff, lab techs, doctor's nurses & their practioners and let's not forget the OUTSTANDING infusion staff. Everyone makes you feel like they have known you forever and I feel that helps with the healing process. I always look forward going there for my treatments every 3 weeks. I can NOT 'thanked' everyone enough for what they have done for me since I was diagnosed with uterine endometria cancer on July 15, 2022. I would recommend this office to everyone who has been diagnosed with cancer and I am sure if they can not help you at this location, they will point you in the right direction for where you need to be.
