CANNOT RECOMMEND HIS OFFICE
Treated very, very poorly when I attempted to make an appointment to see my Medicare.Humana HMO primary care provider. Will contact Medicare, Medical Board, etc., as well and file formal written complaints. Cannot recommend this doctor's office. Very untrained staff apparently (or they simply don't care).

Doctor 'MIA'
What is a McKenzie? I never saw him during the two years I went there. I only went to his office, knowing nothing was going to be accomplished, to get referrals to see other doctors in specialty fields. The first intern/student I saw didn't even know how to check my heart. The second intern, like the first, would listen to you as you explained the reason for the visit. Then without any suggestions from them, they would just give you a pitiful smile and send you on your way. I had to ALWAYS request a referral for a procedure to be performed to try and diagnose my problem. They did manage to do that. I am now in the process of finding another doctor, now that I have seen all the other doctors and gone through all my tests. So if you're looking for a doctor that you'll never see, or if you're turned on by a intern's smile, than that's the place to go.

Worst doctor experience ever
Dr. McKenzie was the most condescending doctor I have ever experienced. I am a woman who was vacationing near Las Vegas. I ended up at Valley Hospital for a blood condition that came on suddenly while out there. Dr. McKensie walked into my room with a bunch of students and treated me like I was the dumbest person ever. He was extremely abrasive. I am educated and understood my condition quite well but he treated me like I had no idea what was going on. I would recommend that this doctor be avoided. Also, he was the only one who came into my room without a mask during my entire stay, even though the other 7 or 8 people with him all had masks on. I asked him to put a mask on and his response was "Why should I put a mask on, I don't have Covid 19". There was signage all over the floor (including in my room) saying that masks are required.

His office has students who don’t know squat due -
I had a student doctor aka intern - when given a radiology report to substantiate my complaints- the doctor chuckled and said she didn’t know how to treat. Seriously?? Didn’t Ofer a referral to a qualified doctor. Pretty much signing a death certificate before even trying. I’m disappointed and pretty much know that Nevada’s health care is DEFINITELY living up to the Obama care standard’s
