It was to my shock that we were told that we were "Not a good fit for the office and should look elsewhere for a doctor." This was after the office misplaced my children's records and failed to be understanding of my child's less than normal health issues. You see, my son was born with a cataract and had 5 eye surgeries in his first 4 years. We got behind on a few vaccines because of it. The nurse was RUDE and unwavering in the policies and wanted to give my child 8 vaccines at once. I simply asked to administer the 4 he was overdue for now and come back in a few weeks for shots he needed for Kindergarten. They refused to do this. 8 shots on a 5 year old at one time is too much. I have since consulted with other nurses and doctors who agreed. I am still waiting for the call back from them that NEVER happened! Not all cases are easy and fit the mold. Find a pediatrician that is compassionate and understanding and has an office staff that is not RUDE and actually returns calls.

Not a great bedside manner. Seems unconcerned and dismissive regarding my concerns. Staff is just O.K.

We saw Dr. Mcgranahan for the first 6 months of my sons life until we moved. I was so sad to leave such a wonderful and caring doctor. He is very patient and never made us feel rushed. Great with new parents and I would def recommend him.

Dr. McGranahan is always friendly, thorough, compassionate, and knowledgable. We never feel rushed when he is with our child and he always takes the time to answer our questions, and frequently references the most up to date literature. He is passionate about his career and has never provided anything but the best care and treatment to our child.
