If I could click zero stars, I would. He was horrible. No bedside manner whatsoever. He was rough with me even after I told him how much I hurt. I’m stiff and in pain. He tells me I have to bend my hands, I tell him I do the exercises from physical therapy. Then he asks why I’m going to PT. Very rude, telling me to bend my thumb multiple times, I told him I didn’t understand, he says it only bends one way. I’ve never had such a horrible experience. I was in tears. The nerve test was unpleasant, which isn’t his fault. How horribly he treats patients is absolutely his fault. He asked what kind of work I did, I told him affordable housing and he says “aren’t they trying to cut that?” Wow, rub it in that I’m losing my job, the job that’s paying for this exam. Seriously, no manners, compassion, nothing. When he’s done with the test, he’s typing away, blocking the door. After a few minutes, he tells me I’m free to leave. He doesn’t get up or open the door. Absolutely awful. I see others online had a similar experience. I shouldn’t have checked reviews because I wouldn’t have seen him.

Liar
He told me my elbow and wrist pain was from smoking cigs and my nerves were fine and I didn't have cubital tunnel when I went to him through work comp. He gaslighted me. I went to a neurologist at st lukes who re did the same ncs,emg and it showed clearly carpal tunnel. Found out I DID have cubital tunnel as well, which can't be ruled out by emg alone, and had surgery for both. He needs to stay in his lane and not misinform patients and rule out certain clinical diagnoses that he is not capable of ruling out. Only confirming. If you're reading this do not go to him!

I saw Dr. Killman for an EMG that I was not looking forward to however he explained everything and answered my questions patiently. This really eased my apprehension. He was professional and as gentle as a person can be while doing this procedure. While it wasn’t fun I do appreciate his demeanor and would recommend him.

Unprofessional
By far the most unprofessional staff and atmosphere I've ever been around in the medical field. Had to contact the doctor that referred me, a governing agency, and my attorney due to their behavior

Avoid at all cost
I visited with Dr. Killman in November 2023 for an EMG. He barged into the room at 12:00 pm with his eyes so bloodshot I wondered if he was still drunk! Throughout the procedure he was rude, argumentative, belittled me for my injuries (auto accidsent), was incredibly rough with the test (leaving bruises all over my arms and neck). He had no compassion continually stating and almost yelling 'hold still'. Well, you are shocking nerves. You cannot hold still. If I could give a 'negative 5' I would. Avoid him like the plague!

I have never in my life experienced such a rude and insulting professional as Mr. Killman the last name fits him well. He will ask a question, when you start answering he will rudely interrupt and insult you the entire time. He was very rough when doing the test with the needles leaving bruises all over me where he stuck me. Did not really clean up the blood where he stuck me, I walked out of the office bleeding and bruised. I honestly don’t know how or why he works at Centerpoint or any other medical center. I hope I never have to see or speak to this individual EVER again!!

See literally anyone else
I had never had such a horrible experience anywhere. He interrupted me constantly, talked down to me, told me that most of the time they never find the cause of pain and Ill have to learn to live with it, asked if he should poke me in the eye with the electrode to see if i even feel pain?, never swabbed my arms with anything to disinfect before inserting the electrodes, forgot to test at least one site, didn't take the time to listen for interference between each site, told me that he's not saying fibromyalgia isn't real, but people who do aerobic exercise don't feel symptoms of it. ( I wasn't there for fibro and have never had it suggested to me as a cause of what I'm going through) I've never left an encounter feeling like there was so little hope to feel human and get back to work and live my life. Beyond the poor bedside manner, I question his competence.

Never Again – Oct 10, 2023

Never accept an appointment with him
Dr Killman visit was a nightmare. Dr Killman is there to administer the EMG. Not use that position for harassing, browbeating & voicing all his bias opinions. The test results are objective findings. All that extra verbal abuse is him using his position to dismiss & marginalized his patients. This doctor is aggressive & argumentative. He admitted surgery would help relive the pain, however because he says he never seen surgeons go as far down on an arm as he thinks they need too with me. He won’t recommend surgery. Again, outside the scope of him administering the test. In the end, after spent over 2o minutes in a small office going through that painful test, with the uncouthness and unprofessionalism of this physician marginalizing & dismissing my pain and anything remotely helpful . I wouldn't recommend him under any circumstances.

Excellent doctor
The negative reviews caused some apprehension, but they are very misleading. Dr Killman couldn’t have been more approachable or professional. He explained everything, warned when something would hurt and parts of the EMG test do hurt: a needle and electric currents are being used. I couldn’t recommend him and his staff more highly!

I would give -1 rating if that were possible
The Doctor was belittling and derisive. He asked why was I disabled and when I gave a short answer of disc decompression at l3/l4 in my back, he responded "you got disability for that?, Missouri will give disability for anything" I instantly felt down and unworthy, my anxiety flared and I just wanted to stop talking, but I answered. I was being poked with needles which was a painful test. I said "I didn't get my disability in Missouri". He asked me where did I get it at and instead of just refusing to answer anymore of his questions that were making me justify my disability, I answered "California" and he promptly said "California is right behind Missouri". When I would say "ow" he would respond with "you're not a fan of pain are you" and "you're really sensitive to pain" as he was sticking needles in my muscles and leaving me bleeding and not caring that blood was dripping onto my blouse. I received a paper towel when asked for one. There isn't enough room to give a full account.

Rude and disrespectful
This "doctor" is horribly rude. Verbally abusive to both nurses and patients. Talks over everyone as if no one else matters at all. Does not listen when you try to explain anything, or pretends to and then gas lights you. Very much so has a God Complex. Has no regard what so ever for patients level of pain, in complete denial that someone could possibly phantom pain horrible enough to warrant even otc pain meds. Often refers to patients as a drug addict for seeking any kind of relief. Hypocritical and lacks any kind of empathy.

Most horrible experience ever
I have never experienced something so horrible in my life. He was rude, aggressive, and yelled at me and my mother in law in front of my young child. He was so aggressive we immediately left the hospital and did not allow him to preform the test on my mother in law.

Yesterday I was sent to this doctor for an emg/ncs of my right arm which I recently had 2 surgeries on (shoulder replacement). The front desk staff seemed to be very nice however once this man walked in the room everything changed. He didnt explain the procedure very well and walked in saying "i hear youre scared...ive done this on myself 200 times". That did nothing for my fear however he proceeded. He was very ROUGH, RUDE, and is surely the absolute WORST dr. that I have ever encountered. I have a work comp wear and tear (repetitive use) injury that ive been going through for over a year, at my last ortho appointment I advised my surgeon that I had been having numbness from my elbow to my pinky and ring fingers since 2 days after surgery. Work comp found this horrible man and sent me there although I believe if they knew how he acted as a supposed medical professional he would quickly be off of the referral list. When he first walked in he sat down WITH a medical chart in hand and

Dr. Killman has some of the worst bedside manners i have ever experienced. Does not listen. Spent more time talking about how all the doctor's and therapists I have seen are unqualified however his expertise and EMG machine that might actually be older that him are precise and reliable. It did not help he was hard of hearing and everything I said had to be repeated multiple times and most of the time not comprehended or retained. It is totally possible his diagnosis is correct but I simply would never trust someone like him. I am working on a second opinion but had to immediately write this to warn others of going to him.

Dr. Killman was a nightmare! I went to see him for an EMG test. I am in SEVERE PAIN,NUMBNESS,SWELLING, SHOOTING ELECTRIC SHOCK PAIN! To the point where I couldn’t sleep, do any daily activities, brush my hair, etc! I would spend most days crying in pain and I went to this jerk Dr. Killman, that told me that there was no way I was experiencing this kind of pain and that I must be an Opioid addict because he said I was way over exaggerating my pain! My pain and the swelling of my hands is so severe that the skin from my nail beds are lifting from my nails!! Dr. Killman told my that acupuncture, massage&chiropractors are fake and they do nothing to help people! They are a scam! Dr. Killman was rude, rushed through my appt would not listen to my concerns and explanations of the pain I was experiencing! Talked over me all the time and when I winced in pain he told me to stop that it could not hurt that bad!He was wrong, Surgery is scheduled! He should never do any surgeries! EVER!!

I was seen by Dr. Killman for an EMG test to see if I had carpal tunnel. His office staff was nice and Dr. Killman did an great job of explaining the test, which greatly calmed my nerves. He answered all my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. He was very friendly and easy to talk to. I would definitely refer him or see him again if necessary.
