I was diagnosed with Nasopharyngeal Tumor and had a referral sent over to Dr. Jameson because their website and video bragged about how good they were at handling complicated tumors of all sizes that most cannot get to. All my records were sent over and several weeks later, I still have not heard back from Dr. Jameson team. I was told by other doctors, that my Tumor was complicated so this is why I selected them. I can understand if my condition is complicated and they cannot help me, that's not a problem. Doctors are not GOD's so I don't expect them to be able to do everything. However, I do expect them to have the professionalism and curtesy to follow up on patience referrals. Cancer news can be a very sensitive and dramatic experience for most. When seeking treatment I would like to know the team treating me is caring and working to make my overall quality of life better and not more complicated. To the Dr. Jameson team and UVA cancer center all I can say is shame on you.

Dr. Mark Jamison is the worst ever. He can do everything but he DOES NOT . My mom had 2 types of cancer that she survived both of them , one by Johns Hopkins 2009 and the other by him May 2019. But she died because of Fistula ( an abnormal pathway or hallway between 2 organs ) it happened as a side effect of his surgery . It’s very simple complication IF got treated by head and neck surgeon. But when Dr. Jamison ordered a diagnostic CT for my mom on Oct 2019, he discharged her telling her she is free of cancer and any complication. No soon CT scan or other scan scheduled until she is seen by him with her follow up on Dec 6 2019. Within Nov 2019 , she had inability to swallow and became worse and worse that she could not be able to swallow even a water . I am a doctor myself and read about the cause of this after a surgery, it showed me fistula is the major reason . But would not expected since she had CT scan just few weeks before and told us it was normal. Though I called his office s
