I have 100% confidence in this doctor
I have felt fortunate to have Dr. Hartman as my radiation doctor. On my first meeting with Dr. Hartman he sat down and talked to me about radiation and explained what to expect and what we were facing. He paid attention to my questions and concerns and took the time to explain each answer. His caring nature came through as soon as I met him and my first impression there wasn't diminished as time went on. He remembers his patients and I could tell that he truly cared what happened and he took time to check in afterwards to make sure that everything was ok. I think that at times he is overworked and sometimes people expect too much of their providers but this man seemed to manage to find time to call to make sure I understood everything, stating 'I know it can be a lot to take in'. That told me that I was dealing with a man who wanted to do his best for me. I haven't dealt with any other radiation doctors and I can't say that I really want to. I'm perfectly fine continuing with him.

Get a second opinion ASAP
Tells you one thing, backtracks, then gaslights you. Staff is not knowledgeable or helpful, call backs take days. Talks down to patients and is condescending. Relies on "Nurse Kelly" who is unreliable, rude, and never follows up as "promised."
