I'm surprised by the negative reviews. Dr. Gurley is not flowery in his speech but he is very experienced and competent. He cured an advanced ear infection after I had seen many other ENT's who were not able to get it under control. He is the best ENT I have ever been to. Agree the staff is not the best.

Don’t do it.
If you are seeking answers and a path to good health, you will not find them with Mark Gurley. I read the negative reviews prior to my visit…..but went anyway. I wish I had stayed home. Absolutely useless.

Always no nonsense, easy to talk to, and most helpful in recommendations. Very efficient in treatment of medical conditions.

I would not count on his staff to get testing scheduled, it has been three weeks now and they haven't even called with a appointment for a simple GI test. If you have a serious health issue I would highly recommend go somewhere else please.

Dr. Gurley has a pleasant enough personality, but seemed rushed during both appointments that I had to discuss my year-long acid relux problem. He first recommended continuing with the medication I was taking, which already wasn't helping to improve my condition. Next appointment, he recommended an over-the-counter medication, which also hasn't helped at all. I didn't get the impression that he took my problem seriously. I won't be returning to him.

If I could give a zero, I would. He is dismissive and does not listen to patients. I now know, I have a life-threatening disease that is usually recognized by the exact symptoms I tried to tell him about. He is an ENT, he should have recognized it and not scoffed at me.

Well mannered and was respectful. He explained the procedure before and afterward and took the time to explain the results and even answered some questions about what he found.

Our appointment was after Dr.'s lunch break. Staff arrived over one hour late to open office. Paperwork and additional wait time AFTER staff arrived - approx one more hour. No apology for wait. Neither staff nor Dr. Gurley cared that I was upset. I had taken off from my own job to sit OUTSIDE his reception area for one hour waiting for them to return from lunch and an additional hour inside waiting for them to catch up. I was so angry at their dismissive behavior we found another ENT.

Wait time to see him was two hours. Overheard Dr.Gurley complaining in hallway about how many new patients he had, and how another patient had not been nice enough to him. He rushed in and out, interrupted every word I said, did not listen, was rude and dismissive of concerns. He had read no information from my referring doctor (test results, reason for visit, CT scan). If my insurance allowed me to go anywhere else I definitely would. Never recommending him to anyone.

I saw Dr. Gurley on 3/14/17 because I was concerned that I'd been losing my voice for a couple of months and having to clear my throat frequently when speaking. The wait time during my appt. was longer than is ordinary because, I, and many others that day were new patients. He took time necessary to explain the procedure which consisted of passing a flexible scope through one nostril down to the larynx to visualize the area. His friendly accessible manner made me feel comfortable.

I arrived before my appointed time of 2:00 and quickly filled out the paperwork. I waited until 2:40 and asked when I would be called. There were still three people before me. It's clear this practice does not respect the patients time and double books the patients. The staff gave the typical response of they were behind. Well, of course, when you double book and disregard people you will be behind. Several patients waiting actually snickered at the staff remark. DONT USE THIS PRACTICE.
