Dr's Berman & Mina have been treating my husband over the past few years for issues with his right ankle. Dr mina had xrays done in april and NEVER called with results. He then took the xrays and went to an orthopedist who reviewed his xrays and referred him to a surgeon for a 2nd opinion. the dr we were referred to suggested an arizona brace for his condition before doing surgery. he went back to dr Mina to get fitted for the brace, here we are 6 weeks later and still no brace. The office states it is waiting on insurance authorization, however we call insurance company and they state they have no request. After waiting 6 weeks we found another company and they fitted my husban who will have the brace in 2 to 3 weeks. WHAT IS WRONG WITH THIS PICTURE. how after 2 years there was no diagnosis, suggestion of brace, just kept him coming back for injections.

Office Appt.
My husband had an appointment with Dr. Grusso because of swollen lower leg and redness from ankle almost to the calf of his leg and it was painful to walk. Dr.Grusso treated it as plantar fascitis and gave him a shot in his foot and recommended him for a doppler study to be done. Turns out my husband had a DVT as indicated in the report. We got the report on Friday but no call from Dr. Grusso's office. I called his office on Mon. morning. The receptionist said she would print the report out and Dr. Grusso would get back to me. I waited until 3:30 and called back only to have to leave a message on his answering machine. Office staff called back and said he left for the day and said he left her a message to give to us that he wanted us to call a vascular surgeon. As far as I am concerned this is not good medical care of a potentially dangerous problem and for that reason, I will never recommend Dr.Grusso to anyone.
