Very happy with my visit to Laney Peabody. Dr. Gilligan took time, answered all questions, and was an ace with my cortisone shot!

I broke my leg and walked on it for 1 1/2 weeks thinking it was just sprained. Dr Gilligan was very professional and nonjudgemental. Great personality. My leg is healing well.

Doctor Gilligan was seemed to take offense whenever I said I knew something about my body. He grew hostile, even asking me if I "had training as a physical therapist or doctor" as if without those things, I should have absolutely no opinion about or knowledge of my own body. The issue I was seeing him for was an exacerbation of an ongoing issue. I "knew" things because I had seen other providers (a doctor and physical therapists) before about this problem, and had been told similar things to what he was telling me. I do not understand why this was either threatening to him, or otherwise offended him. I was in pain, and he was hostile, dismissive and generally unpleasant. It was a bad experience, and I would never see him again.

I absolutely love doctor Gilligan and he has helped me tremendously with my bad knee. He is so kind and so thorough that I would highly recommend him to anyone.. very soft-spoken and explains everything so you understand and I am so grateful that he is my doctor.Thank you Dr. Gilligan.

Had a great experience with Dr. Gilligan. When I first went in I had a hard time walking he ran some tests xray a Mri. He fitted me with a brace and now I am walking three miles a day with no p and I was able to av surgery. Th other doctors I we t wanted to do a knee replacement. Thank God for Dr Gil

I have had several appointments with Dr. Gilligan over the last year or so, and have had a very satisfying experience with both doctor and staff . Without fail they have proven to be caring and compassionate , and Dr Gilligan listens to his patients and takes all the time to explain problems in layman's terms . I highly recommend him .

Dr. Gilligan is a very caring and intelligent physician. He got me on the road to recovery from a knee injury quickly and was always available for questions that I had. I found him and his staff to be knowledgeable and accommodating. I would highly recommend Dr. Gilligan to both adults and children alike as I have friends with kids that had very positive experiences.

Dr. Gilligan has been my family's Orthopedist for a number of years and continues to be a doctor I trust to treat myself or my very active children when the need arises. I have never hesitated to recommend him to friends as I know he will give them quality care and be courteous and professional. Dr. Gilligan is astute, knowledgeable and compassionate.
