Great care!
I have been a patient for over 25 years. I always receive excellent service and trust Dr. Eden's medical decisions and diagnosis. When I had a complex issue that was out of his area of expertise he referred me to wonderful physicians, called them to explain my issue and test results so that I got in quickly. The staff is the best and not only treat you like family, they actually care about you as if you were their family. I definitely recommend Dr. Eden.

Great, personal care from a wonderful doctor
Dr. Eden has cared for us for nearly 10 years. When we need care, we get an immediate response. He is intelligent, friendly and treats us like family. We feel safe and cared for in his care. His staff is smart, friendly and very helpful. Couldn't ask for a better doctor.

Lack of care and privacy. I called up looking for a new Primary Care physician for a routine annual exam. When I called the receptionist said that I needed to answer a list of medical questions and then she would submit my answers to Dr Eden to see if he was “willing to take me on as a new patient.” These questions were my birthday, what medical insurance I have, height, weight, pre existing conditions, if I had high blood pressure, if I had diabetes and if I smoked or drank alcohol. After providing medical information to the unknown receptionist she told me that once the Dr made a decision she would call me back. A few days later I received a call that he decided “not to take me on as a new patient.” I find this appalling that a Doctor is doing “American Idol” type screenings to find the easiest or healthiest people he wants to take on as patients instead of just caring for people like a Doctor should do. I have excellent Blue Cross and Blue Shield insurance so his decision not to take me on must have been based on my answer to one of his medical prescreening questions. I don’t know if this tactic is out of laziness or incompetence but either way it is a horrible business practice for a so called medical professional. Read the other reviews of people that have experienced the same treatment.

I am going to miss Dr Eden and his staff. We have moved to Rockport and I wish I could have taken him with me. He is the best doctor I have ever had. He treated me with respect, compassion and listened to every thing I ever told him. He is a very caring man.

Our family has enjoyed the care we always receive from Dr. Eden. When it is your appointment he gives all of the time need to communicate; to hear you and explain to you. When we moved back to San Antonio we still drove to Fredericksburg Tx to see him. He is very supportive and a good doctor.

My wife my brother and myself have had dr. Mark as their primary doctor for 15 plus years. Dr. Mark is the best and most through doctor we have ever experienced . Never keeps you waiting and always has time to explain and answer any questions. When needed he will always direct you to a competent specialist. Also has a wonderful staff.

I called Dr Edens office to check if he was accepting new patients. The girl that answered the phone said I need to ask you a couple of questions to see if he "feels" like taking me on as a new patient. I was asked my height, weight and a short medical history. The next day she called back and her exact words to me were "Dr Eden doesn't feel like taking you as his patient." I find her responses so rude.

Dr. Eden has been my doctor since 2006. He and his staff have always been wonderful and accommodating. He delivered my first child nine years ago and will be delivering my second this fall. I've always trusted his judgment and diagnoses. And I always recommend him to friends and family looking for a doctor.
