Best doctor I've ever been to
Had a operation on my foot for bunion and other problems and he couldn't have been more on pointe. I've never met a doctor more competent and intuitive. He has experience and expertise that is unparrelled and is a genius at what he does. His staff is just awesome and so accomodating and knowledgeable. You won't find a better doctor than this one. He's so awesome.

Heard Dr. Easly was the best foot guy. I drove 2.5 hours and they could not find my referral and said I was in the "self pay" file. ( I am retired USMC with Tricare Prime).Once there they needed a CT scan of my foot and said I needed another referral. I called my doc and he quickly did another one so I did not drive 2.5 hours for nothing. Turns out I did not need another referral. I call and they do not return my calls. Four times now they put me in the self pay category and cannot find my referral. May be the best but if I cannot access him I would not know. I spoke with the financial dept and they said my referral was received; however, it was in the self pay file. Based on this Duke does not call self pay referrals and when I call I end up speaking to the financial dept to find my referral. I am still waiting for a call back from Duke but I guess if they see I am self pay they wont call? I called the PA line and they wont return my calls either...odd..

He is absolutely amazing. He is one of the first doctors he actually listened to me and what I wanted. I’m 25 and suffered from end stage post frantic arthritis and I felt ankle replacement was the best option for me personally. Most doctors would of refused because of my age but he listened! I’m only 3 weeks post op but already in less lain than I was before surgery. He’s the best of the best.

Dr. Easley has done surgeries on both feet to remove bunions and straighten curled toes. Both went without incident. My left foot was operated on eleven years ago and it is still very straight without problems. Dr. Easley is very friendly, professional and confident in his recommendations. Zach, his PA is very likable too.

If you need a total ankle replacement, Dr Easley is one of the best in the world. He did my left ankle 12 years ago and it brought me such relief it changed my life. As I write this, i am recovering nicely from his replacement of my right ankle with an artificial ankle of his own design. I'm very grateful that he has restored my quality of life.

I am a retired OR nurse who had a lifelong ankle problem leading to arthritic pain. Now, 6 months out from my ankle joint replacement by Dr. Easley, I am now pain-free and walking without a limp.

Worst Dr. I've ever seen. Referred to him for a missed diagnosis of an ankle injury with continued problems over 2+ years after 2 surgeries & 3 rounds of PT. He was condescending & dismissive of my concerns. He said I had a 2 yr. old ankle sprain and tendonitis that a 4th round of PT would fix instead of trying to find out why past treatments hadn't worked. My new Dr did surgery to fix several issues he took the time to find.

He only has appointments on Tuesday & Thursday, & just getting through the phone announcement before getting to a human is a lengthy annoying procedure. Difficult to schedule unless far in advance. If you do not want a recommendation for surgery, do not make an appointment with a surgeon.

Referral from numerous doctors for ankle joint issues. Ankle was so far gone that had to be replaced in 2013. 6'5" and 300lb and 4 years later ankle is great with no pain. Dr. Easley is highly skilled and explained the progression from surgery, recovery, and rehab in detail. Office and hospital top notch. I recommend to at minimum seek Dr. Easley for his opinion. Its worth the travel time.

I had a badly deteriorated arthritic ankle that would have prevented most walking and hiking. Looking for a better solution than an ankle frozen in position in position with screws, I asked Duke Foot and Ankle specialist Dr. Mark Easley to evaluate me for a STAR prosthesis. Dr. Easley and Dr. Nunley installed the prosthesis and I recovered with full usage and flexibility for 9 years, hiking and climbing over rugged terrain. This demonstrated the most excellent, professional and pleasant result.

Doc Easley provided excellent care to me before, during and after! He tried preventative measures before surgery. My surgery went smoothly, he provided excellent care and I followed his post op instructions exactly and have had no issues. His staff is attentive and caring. A+++

I spent years seeing him on and off and he did not listen to me at all. He was dismissive and insisted I had tendinitis. Thankfully I finally requested a new doctor who listened and after a successful operation I'm finally pain free. Dr. Easley was rude and condescending.

Achilles tendon rupture and detached from heel due to accident. Dr Easley was extremely knowledgeable and surgery was a success. 6 months later I was already back playing tennis - gingerly - and 9 months later back to almost normal. Pre and post surgery Dr Easley was always avail to answer questions and he really cared about my progress. I felt he truly cared.

went to see in Jan 2016,was told by second visit he could help me.Now wants to amputate my left foot, he is not willing to do corrective surgery because it is high risk. Does not seem concerned that amputation should be LAST RESORT AFTER SURGERY FAILURE !!! Even if success rate is 50 % I should be offered that option.THIS IS MY FOOT HE WANTS TO CUT OFF WITHOUT EVEN TRYING TO SAVE IT. I feel I deserve the option of trying to save my foot.
