Dr Durbin did my first rotorcuff surgery and left materials in my shoulder. 5 mos. Later after alot of pain and suffering and convincing him that I could see it in MRI and reading it he went back in and left me with damage to my biceps muscle that will never be right. He went too deep and didn't give the muscle the right option to reattach. Not only was he rude but was negligent by not taking my staples out and I had to demand it. He didn't give me pain medication and acted like I was not to have it. He sent me to physical therapy with a sac of fluid that my body had formed to fight what the foreign pieses were he left. He did not explain the procedure to me when I asked over and over. He said he was going to take a little pinch here and it would be all over with. He was downright mean. I turned him in to the medical board and got no where and threw me under the bus on my insurance

Exceptional Doctor with excellent bed side manner. Dr. Durbin has preformed two (2) wrist surgeries including a fusion and one shoulder surgery. His technical skills are excellent. I am most impressed in how he interacted with my wife and I throughout all of my surgeries. He was always considerate, compassionate and very interested in getting me the best outcome possible. He is the only Doctor in CO I would trust with a wrist surgery.

I would not recommend this doctor. I had alder nerve surgery in my elbow 3 years ago. 6 months after I came back with severe pain, he told me to wait 6 more months. 18 months later I am still telling him that I have pain. He was short with me and seemed irritated that I was bothering him. 3 years later I and several EKG's a hand specialist in Denver told me I needed to redo the surgery. It turns out my alder nerve was kinked in 2 areas from the surgery! Tons of scar tissue and it was a mess.

Never! He is a short tempered, disrespectful person who has very little concern about you or anything you say. My experience with him was shocking because I was not expecting to get yelled at by a "professional" doctor for simply asking him to sign my VA paperwork. He ultimately refused and also never responded to any inquiries from the local VA office
