Worst Neurosurgeon in the history of medicine
I first met Dr. D Alise for the first time when had an appointment with him onDecember the 3rd. for a referral from my PCP for a second opinion for why my arm and leg's remain numb after a recent surgery. Of all the neurosurgeons I have worked with in my life time, he is the rudest most arrogant doctor I have ever met. He spent the twenty minutes he took out his schedule telling me how stupid I was for listening to other doctors and allowing them to operate on me. He told me 'back pain is no reason to have surgery.' For one to say something like that without knowing anything about my past, what I ha've be though and done, my pathology, is the very definition of Arrogance. He attempted to diagnose the problem with arm that had nothing to do with my pathology or what is actually wrong with me. He is not only a most rude and most arrogant doctor, he is the dumbest I have ever met. No one should ever waste their tome on this guy. These are his true colors.

Wonderful Experience! Caring Doctor & Staff!
Dr. D Alise is an amazing doctor that really cares about his patients. After spending months in agonizing pain, I was referred to Dr. D Alise. I was set up for surgery to relieve my pain quickly. After surgery, the staff answered questions and helped me with what to expect in my recovery. I would highly recommend the doctor & his staff if you need a Neurosurgeon!

Time to Listen
Dr. D'Alise is a rare find in today's clinical medicine. He takes the time to speak with his patient, listens to their complaint and history, reviews in depth their problems and concerns. Discusses symptoms and solutions. Excellent plan and follow up recommendation to support what is next for the patient.

Dr. D'Alise performed a difficult lower back surgery for me in May, 2020. Due to his expertise, I am now out of pain and working on building back my strength and stamina. Finding a premier neurosurgeon is difficult enough, but to find one who is kind and caring is amazing. If I should need more surgery, I will be traveling from Dallas to Lubbock to have it with him at University Medical Center.

After relocating to West TX from Houston I had trouble finding treatment for a herniated disc in my lower back that had almost incapacitated me for 1+ years. I was fortunate to have a recommendation for Dr. D'Alise from the spine Dr. in Lubbock after my 2nd steroid spine injection didn't help. Even so, I was terrified of having back surgery, and read EVERY review for all surgeons within 200 miles before booking my appointment. Dr. D'Alise sat down, explained every detail of what was wrong and a very conservative surgery that would correct it. He was very laid back; HE LISTENED TO ME, let me tell him exactly what I was feeling and answered all of my questions. Both my husband and I loved his bedside manner and treatment approach. Fortunately my pain was better and I had more mobility by the time of my appt. so I don't have to have to the surgery just yet. However, if my pain again becomes unmanageable, I have complete confidence that Dr. D'Alise will take care of it and fix my back.

Dr. D'Alise has done 4 of the last 5 surgeries on my back, spanning 18 years. he would have done all 5 but he was having physical problems at the time. I have recovered well after each surgery and highly recommend him.

I am very impressed with Dr. D'Alise and his staff. I had been in pain for a full year and they took good care of me. I was pain free immediately after my procedure, minus the customary soreness. I am so grateful for these great people. I had to travel two hours from Amarillo to Lubbock to see him but it was very much worth it.

I wish I could leave more than a 5 star review! My husband was walking with a walker after already having one back surgery. Only 36 years old and miserable. Dr Dalise did an exploratory surgery, found the issue that DID NOT show up on MRI, and my husband has never had an issue since. His is the nicest Dr we have ever seen. His bedside manners are incredible and his staff was amazing to us!

4 years ago, my family member drove from out of town for an 8:30am appointment. He waited all day while checking in with front office multiple times. The office notified him he had left for the day at 3:30pm. My family member had to stay in hotel overnight to be seen.
