Simply Outstanding
Doc Blanchard has been my Family MD for nearly 10 years now. He is an incredible individual. First of all, he knows his stuff; from courses of action and treatment plans to combat High BP to calling other resources to deal with specialty problems like enlarged prostates and dermatological issues. Secondly, his bedside manner and congeniality is second to none. He reaches his patients on a personal level. Third, he actually listens to his patients and cares about them on a personal level. . .something a lot of other doctors ought to take a lesson in. Fourth, he conducts follow-ups with his patients, day and night. Simply amazing. He's actually called me on holidays and weekends to see how I'm doing or to let me know the outcome of some important blood work I had been waiting on. Unfortunately, Dr Blanchard is retiring next year. He will be sorely missed by patients and anyone lucky enough to have met him. Truly a commensurate professional.

I have been with Dr. Blackwood for almost about 15 years. He is a good listener and I have never felt rushed. My appointments always feel on the longer side. I have enough time to ask all my questions. Dr. Blackwood answers any questions thoroughly. Also, he often will be the one to call me with test results. I think he is an excellent doctor.

He is willing to learn- he dealt with long standing and reoccurring injuries/conditions brought on by hard manual labor and repetitive motion. For normal stuff he would be very good. At my last appointment he answered every question I had on my list.
