Dr. Mark Barlow, MD

My experience was amazing. I am a breast cancer survivor of 21 years. I had a L breast masectomy w/reconstruction. Dr. Barlow replaced implant and reconstructed it. He did an excellent job. Eileen is so caring. The office does not make you feel like just a patient.

I had an appointment 10-06-2023 with Dr. Barlow. The staff and Dr. Barlow were very encouraging. I was told my surgery would be scheduled before the end of the year. I gave the staff all information requested including having other physicians emailing the office medical records. After another call from his staff with favorable information, all communication ceased. They would not answer my calls or messages. I called and texted several times in November and December. NO ANSWERS. I wasted three months of my time waiting for the promised surgery. Very unprofessional.

My husband chopped off his pinky by accident and had to have surgery by Dr. Barlow to sew it back up. After surgery we were left with only three days worth of pain medication and his follow up was not until a week later. Every follow up since Dr. Barlow says he will refill his pain and nerve medicine however we have to call back-and-forth between the pharmacy and the doctors office and the insurance and all this just to find out the doctor isn’t doing his job because he has to give prior authorization for these meds. Half of them he did not even send to the pharmacy!

Dr Barlow has done several procedures for me and my family members with flawless results every time. His concern for our well being is evident to say the least. What Doctor gives out his personnel cell number to his patents to call anytime? Dr Barlow does! Thank you for everything you have done for us!

He did an eyelid lift for me this year and breast reconstruction after a mastectomy in 2013. I am extremely happy with both procedures. He, and his staff, are professional, kind and caring.

After an office visit and scheduling a procedure, I sent 3 follow-up emails asking for promised cost information. After the third message, the office manager finally responded, tersely, didn't provide any cost info and, when I said I'd cancel my procedure if I didn't know at least roughly how much it would cost out of pocket, she said "We have a very long waiting list," suggesting she didn't care. I called the next day to complain; never got a call back. Cancelled the next day. Bad service!

When I told Dr.Barlow I was disappointed with results, he immediately left the room without discussing it with me. Sent his nurse in to inform me that they were having a special of buy one treatment and get one free. I had already spent $6,000 dollars and saw no results. She said she would talk to doctor and email me. That was several weeks ago and have not heard from them. Doctor did a poor job in communicating with me. When I left the office that day I was ignored.

Went to dr Barlow for gynecomastia treatment. He was very attentive and easy going. Their offices are nice but not over the top like some of the other clinics in th area. I wanted a quality surgeon more than an pampered experience. Well turns out i got both. Dr Barlow was great. The team was great. The results were very good. Well within expectation. When I had questions about touch ups they were very helpful and took care of me great. Took insurance too to reduce costs! Recommended!
