A nice guy who destroyed my life by knowing prescribing a highly addictive drug, clonazepam, at a very high dose over a period of 15 years. A drug more dangerous than heroin to withdrawal from. Since moving from WA state, I have had multiple trips to the ER trying to withdraw. One MD told me that people trying to withdraw from opiates feel as though they are going to die but won't. Those withdrawing from benzos, like clonazepam, feel as though they are going to die and very likely may.
