Short and Dismissive
Rushed into the room. Insisted on an IOL for near intermediate and far distances. Tried to tell him I have no prescription now. Surgery was to resolve glare and halos driving. Left the room at 4:54 ignoring request for prescription for glasses. Scheduled a second consultation with another Dr. They chose a lens with Enhance Vision Alcon Panoptix Tiruc IOL for Astugmatism. The concentric circles on lens now gives me superimposed images and is known for causing night driving issues. Never spoke of brain neuroadaptatoin or visual disturbances. Panoptix lens is the “only” IOL used in office. I have headaches abs stabbing pain over left eye. The actual IOL lens needs to be replaced with a monofocal lens. Refused to refer me to another Dr and told me I had a secondary cataract and YAG surgery. Thank goodness I found a Dr who can extract and replace

Very Stressful and Chaotic Appointment
I felt like I must have been on a prank reality show. The entire duration of the short appointment (less than an hour) was very chaotic and stressed me out. A large part was due to the doctor confusing me with another patient. I would tell him something, and he would clearly forget or not remember the details of my symptoms or story. He seems like he needs to retire now as he was very cranky and grouchy - as in if I inconvenienced his day by making my appointment with him. This appointment stressed me out and made me very upset all day.

I will not be going back to see him. After an hour of waiting, he walked into the room, didn't introduce himself, sat down and said what is the problem? I told him I had been sent to him because my eye dr., my rheumatologist, and myself were concerned with the corneal pannus that has been increasingly prevalent over the last few months. His response: " What? Is is just that you don't like the way it looks, because it's harmless." I said no, it's because i feel like I have something stuck in both eyes all day every day. Things only went downhill from there. Very curt, condescending, rude. I should have just got up and walked out.

This guy is a jerk. He is arrogant and crash. He walked into the exam room 1 hour after my appointment time. I was looking at my phone. He yelled "Put that phone away! I don't understand why you people keep using your phone. There is a sign in the hallway saying to turn off all phones due to sensitive laser equipment. I doubt you want to pay for it if it is ruined." When I left I saw the sign hanging from the ceiling. However, no signs in rooms and nurses said nothing.

Brought Handicapped Aunt in to see Dr. Allison. Was almost 30 minutes after appointment time before even getting called back by the nurse. Then after 10 minutes of tests...back into another waiting room to wait for the doctor! Been here now for about an hr so far. Really. I wont ever see him myself!

Dr. Allison was once a fine and caring doctor. When I visited him a few weeks ago he was nothing short of a crass, rude and reprehensible person. I would not go see him again if he were the only one. He lost his compassion.
