Very positive recommendation from two patients
Husband and I have both received excellent treatment from Dr. Gwynn over the last eight years for our different --- but equally vexing --- skin disorders. She's always explained basis for her diagnoses and recommended treatments. We both work full-time so appreciate her business-like approach, but have never found her to be unfriendly or unconcerned with our needs.

I went to Dr. Gwynn to find treatment for my acne. During the first visit, she prescribed me basic facial creams and an oral medication that is widely used by people who suffer with acne. However, I believe I had an allergic reaction to the medication and returned after two weeks. During this visit, Dr. Gwynn seemed like she wasn’t listening to me or my concerns. She stated that within all her years of dermatology, she’s never had a patient react to the medication like this. She then prescribed me new medication, and gave me an information sheet that looked like it was from an organic chemistry textbook. I was scheduled for a two week checkup which went fine. They said they would reach out for an annual checkup which never happened. I haven’t been to a doctors office that forgot about their patients.

Terrible experience with her. Never met a doctor so disinteresting in her patient. She spoke very fast and unclear. My initial visit with her was only 5 minutes long, she rushed me out. Did not even look at my skin, I had to ask "don't you want to look at my skin irritation?" Hope I don’t have any serious problems because I will never know from the exam (or non-exam) she gave me.

Made me feel like my problems weren't important, didn't take the time to be clear, and explain things thoroughly. I felt rushed and that my feelings and worries dismissed. When I explained that what was going on was not properly explained to me I just got a print out handed to me from a medical Wikipedia that anyone could get themselves at home, that didn't exactly even match up what I was being told. No scar treatments were offered to me and no empathy. When I brought up other concerns they were dismissed even though I had only even been seen for about five minutes so I'm not sure how short these appointments are supposed to. I thought that given dermatology is partly cosmetic that would spend as much time on those concerns as well and have a relaxing environment.

What a nightmare! I swear she didn’t take a breath the entire time she was in the office. She was abrupt, rushed, sounded rehearsed, didn’t answer all of my questions and kept asking me if I was done. DO NOT go to this doctor!
