Dr. Marizeli Olacio, DPM

I've had two fractures in my left foot for one month and a half, but I didn't see a doctor until the third week. It was an orthopedic doctor who told me to wear a Cam Boot and stay completely off my foot for an additional three weeks to see if the fractures start healing. When I returned to the orthopedic doctor, he said my foot wasn't healing. He said I needed to see a podiatrist, and was possibly facing surgeryI found Dr. Olacio through my Oscar Insurance. I then Googled her to read patient's reviews about their experience.I was satisfied with the reviews, so I scheduled an appointment.I loved, loved, loved my first interaction with Dr. Olacio and her staff. All were very professional and caring. Dr. Olacio was thorough and also told me I did not need surgery because my fractures were perfectly aligned. She also told me to continue to wear the boot and to start walking on my left foot, but I have restrictions when I exercise. She explained why I need to walk on my foot.

I’ve suffered from foot pain for quite sometime & finally decided to see a podiatrist. I met Dr. Olacio thru another venue & decided to see her. Over the years, it has been a chore finding good doctors who are kind & empathetic. She treated my feet with great care & gentleness. After treatment, I decided to get the soles she recommended. It has been only 2 days using my new custom soles & so far, they are working rather fast! My first relief has been in my legs. I feel a lot less pressure from the knees down & my back feels that is back in the right position, straighter! My right foot with plantar fasciitis was very sore the first day but today (my 2nd day), both feet felt better & forgot got I had the supports on. Why didn’t I do this before? We are so concerned with buying nice looking shoes, that we disregard the importance of the actual support of a shoe. If you suffer from painful feet, look out! Dr. Olacio has the solution! 100 stars for Dr. Olacio & her amazing staff ??

I needed help and I had no references to leverage. I chose Dr. Olacio because of her smile! She ended up being the farthest drive of the three (by more than 10 miles) but it has been a fantastic experience. So easy to talk to and she is an excellent listener.

As a first time mom I came to this office regarding my 2week old newborn’s foot. Dr Olacio informed me she had club foot and proceeded to cast her that same day. A few days later I noticed a nasty blister on the back of her leg from the placement of the cast. I informed the office and was told to bring her in and they would remove it and redo it Higher up her leg once the blister healed. I did not feel comfortable proceeding. So I took my daughter to a pediatric orthopedist who informed me that my daughter does NOT have club foot and did not require a cast. Just regular massage therapy would correct her foot position. All I ended up with from coming here was paying almost $200 for a service that was Not even required and no follow up email regarding my concern/complaint. Beware

Dr. Olacio is very knowlegeable in her field; she's very thorough and shows a high level of care and concern. I really like her a lot and will definitely refer others to her.

Excellent Staff and an Excellent Doctor!

Doctor should be aware of the constant billing mistakes of her staff. Patients need to be properly informed about the costs of any medical procedure and request a prior consent before proceeding

This doctor is running her practice as it was a shop trying to maximize profits. Starting from non charging the correct coinsurance and following to conducting procedures without asking the patient. Please show respect .

I chose this Doctor based on the reviews on Google and was very impressed. All the staff from receptionists, assistants and the Doctor were very professional and caring. And what’s most important is that that Dr Olasio is very knowledgeable about her field.

What a beautiful experience. Dr. Olacio is knowledgeable, kind, aware, considerate, edgy, passionate, truly a wonderful, integrated physician. Her accessibility with non insured clients allows her wisdom to be experienced by all. My appointment was for 1:00, and I was seen by 1:05. I couldn’t recommend her more highly. Such an amazing experience!

Beware of Dr. M. Olacio. Initially I thought Dr. Olacio was a good doctor and knew how to handle my foot issues. Over a 10 month period I ended up spending HUNDREDS of dollars purchasing items in her office that she suggested. Each visit she would request a procedure not covered by insurance therefore, I was always paying extra money outside the deductible. After leaving her care, I received an additional bill indicating it was overdue. Where did this bill come from. Why now. She is vindictive

I had a ankle sprain and couldn't walk because of how swollen it was but thanks to Dr. Olacio I'm better. The staff was great and Dr.Olacio is super understanding.

Dr olacio was the best great podiatrist she won me over a lot of knowledge great the best

She is a doctor who thinks she knows what is best & her patients do not know whats going on w/their bodies. She does not listen to their concerns. When something is wrong she blames it on something else & will use the excuse it just takes time to heal instead of looking into things further to see what is wrong. Drs usually have the motto that the patient know their bodies best, but she does not. I would NEVER trust her w/health stuff again. B/c of her mistake Im having corrective foot surgery.

Dr. Marizeli A. Olacio and her staff are all I could have hoped for from a doctors office. If you are looking for a doctor whose medical knowledge is technical and at the same time easy to understand, and that takes the time to be caring even while maintaining a very efficient office, then Dr. Olacio is someone you should consider visiting.
