Very Rude
As a new patient, Dr Wells didn’t think my hereditary family history was severe enough to run tests and get a baseline, however a few months later I had severe chest pains and ended up having a quadruple bypass. Front office staff is very rude and very unprofessional. They sent reminders three times about an appointment, yet when I get there the doctor isn’t there but they kept reminding me I had ann an appointment. All she wanted to do is argue with me about why they don’t cancel the appointment reminders even though the doctor would not be there. Do yourself a favor and find a different doctor and a different office. Go somewhere where your health matters to them and so do you!

Very rude and disrespectful
This doctor has a poor bedside manor. He was in a hurry. He was rude to the patient. I do not trust his opinion whatsoever. Will never go back

Incredibly rude and dismissive. Avoid.
I was referred by my PCP due to random chest pain and a high resting heart rate and multiple other reasons. He didn’t bring any of those up, He basically told me to stop taking the medication I’ve been on for 20 years (adhd) and to come back in a couple weeks once it was out of my system, which is not an option for me. This is a new issue and he seemed distracted and annoyed and I have never felt more dismissed. He brought up multiple times that I’m a runner and exercise so the stress test was practically pointless unless I stop my meditation. He didn’t even mention my last tests, was incredibly rude and arrogant. I’m getting a referral to a different facility and will never go back.

Definitely recommend Dr. Wells. The ER doctors at Ashe Memorial had me believing I was going to drop dead of a heart condition when it was my COPD and not my heart causing the problem. Very down to earth and as a plus he is from my hometown.

This Man IS AMAZING!!! He is honest (even if you don't want to hear it) and caring. He has been my doctor for over 9 years. I trust him completely. When my daughter had an abnormal ekg, he was the only doctor I would send her to. I would tell anyone that will listen to go see Dr. Wells.
