Worst ever, I have no idea where he got his degree from, it must have been ACME, you know looney tunes. I learned one thing look at Dr's reviews before seeing them especially one that works in Psychology matters. As this Dr. is plain psyco.

Looking back humorous because after 20 min maybe, of him asking me questions and my history and without letting me give my testimony of salvation - which caused my family to think I was Bipolar, he said I was mentally ill and told my 13 year son the same. I had a radical experience with the king of kings, Lord of Lords, Christ Jesus few mos prior to this & the enemy caused as much havoc as he could to this new believer making my fam think I was crazy. Zapata refused to listen to my testimony or explain how he came to his “conclusion” and said he didn’t have to. He said I’d lose my family & job yet five years later that hasn’t happened He didn’t even know me & was very arrogant. If you have any issues turn to our Lord, He is always there!!! I pray for this man

Horrible. He made a bad situation worse. Laughed when I suggested it might be biological. Turns out it was— my thyroid!

Dr Zapata has helped me tremendously with my depression, more than words can express. I will be honest and say I was unsure about him at first and quite frankly he rubbed me the wrong way, but his no bull, honest approach is exactly what i needed! He doesnt baby you or sugar coat anything and thats what I needed. I needed to quit feeling sorry for myself, quit being a victim, and live! Thank You doesn’t begin to express my gratitude!

I will never recommend Dr. Zapata to anyone, even my enemies. The man is absolutely ignorant. He says that I am addicted to a muscle relaxant (Zanaflex). Really?! Pain Mgmt Dr says no way. Dr. Zapata also told my mother that she was an enabler because she opened a door for me. He doesn't look at your records, he talks the entire time, he doesn't let you answer his questions, and his arrogant attitude is intolerable. All of my doctors say that he is a quack and sent me elsewhere.

I think he is more out to push drugs/medications than to fix your problems. Any psychiatry he does is generic and has nothing to do with individual symptoms. He starts giving you stress relieving techniques for you to calm your self without even opening your file to see what she wrong with you. His form of treatment is not to deal with what’s wrong in your life, it’s all about getting you to be calm down and look the other way, take the meds he perscibes you and all your problems go away.

for 1 who speaks as much about silence: he proved a VERY POOR LISTENER. he asked me questions he refused to allow me to answer! & then accused me of being unable to stop talking!? -though HE spoke FAR more than i. for 1 who warns of the (very real) dangers of delusional projection, he sure projected a LOT of HIS BASELESS presumptions onto me & was UNWILLING to have a polite ADULT conversation: it was shameless unapologetic DEGRADATION From him, increasingly, for the duration of the "assessment."

I came to Dr. Zapata's office at wits end. Combined with some issues related to moving back to a small Southern town about two hours away, two drivers hit me during the same week in the frenzy of mid-May. His staff was great, particularly when I broke Southern hospitality rules once or twice. He works closely with his team and his office itself has calm trickling sounding water. He is really a great, highly disciplined gentleman who cares about his profession that ain't easy.
