Nearly killed my dad
My father had open heart surgery from Dr Cruz in May 2024 and Dr Cruz messed up his triple bypass, overtightened a graft and had him in heart failure and the ICU for 11 days. Additionally, he was in the hospital for 35 days due to the error. I wouldn’t let him do surgery on my worst enemy. He’s not a surgeon, he’s a has been. He should not be practicing any longer. Good riddance

Dr. Matos performed my cardiac bypass and later performed an Aortic Aneurysm repair. I would 100% recommend Dr. Matos.

Starting in 1999, Dr. Matos repaired my carotids three times, performed four heart bypasses and inserted a new aortic valve. He has literally saved my life multiple times! I have all of these checked semi-annually and they are all in good shape these many years later. Thanks, Doc. Your sports cars are cool too!! Jerry Rynder
