Dr Gomez is an amazing provider. The surgery performed on my father was life saving. Dr Gomez is very caring!

Ive been a Nurse for 30 years and have worked with many physicians from all specialties. Dr Mario Gomez is by far the smartest and down to earth trauma physician Ive come across. Not to mention he saved my life but also he went way far above and beyond with helping me over come many obstacles. Ive also worked with Ivan Puente who is a very smart intelligent compassionate Physician in the office. I would trust Dr Gomez with my kids and anyone who asked me, 'who can I trust with my life' ? I would say 'Dr Gomez' He puts in the effort and compassion most dont.

Accute diverticulitis.First episode in November.I met Dr. Gomez during my second hospitalization for this condition. He really stood out from the previous surgeon I consulted with as I actually felt like he was listing to what I had to say. I'm now 3 weeks post op for the bowel resection and healing well. My follow up to remove the staples and drain was 2.5 weeks post op.The care and consideration he provides his patients is incredible. He took the time to address ALL of my wife and my concerns regarding this procedure and at no time did we feel like we were being rushed. I hope to never need a serious surgery again, but if I do and it is a type of surgery performed by Dr. G, I want him as my surgeon I concider the treatment I received from Dr. G and his team to be one of the best Dr. and Patient experiences I've ever had.

I met him for the first time through the ER and a decision was to be make towards my health the way he explain the procedure and reason why it should be done. When he was finish explain to me and my husband he even show us a picture of the Xray of going on in body. And what he said at the end of our conversation You Just have to Trust God. Right there I give the approval.

Dr. Mario Gomez was the best surgeon doctor! Took great care and priority over me, and did the surgery well. Felt safe while being in surgery, having him as my surgeon was definitely a blessing. If you need him, you can reach him directly. He checks up on your recovery personally too. Definitely recommend! I wish Dr. Mario Gomez all the best!

Dr. Gomez performed 2 major surgeries on my abdomen, while I was 7-months pregnant. He (along with his team) SAVED MY LIFE! And saw to it that my baby was okay. Dr Gomez used robotic surgery to fix my hernia. The entire experience was excellent. His demeanor is great and he explains the process well. I recommend him highly and also Broward Health.

Dr. Gomez performed emergency abdominal surgery on me after finding out a tumor had been present. From the day I met him, he was very upfront and instilled confidence in me regarding his expertise. post surgery he would check on me every day and even be available to respond to concerns at odd hours. This surgeon KNOWS what he's doing. I would select him EVERY time in any case.

Dr Gomez performed surgery on me. He removed my gall bladder by laparoscopy. I was fully up and about in 2 hours, after anesthesia wore off, and completely healed in 10 days. Four tiny scars. How had an emergency appendicitis and my ER doctor highly recommended Dr. Gomez. By 11pm that nigh he operated on me. Prior to the procedure he spoke with me and put me at ease. That night, immediately following the surgery, he called my partner to report that all went well. He was awesome to deal with and left a hardly noticeable scar.

Dr. Gomez took care of me 100%. He was always available when I had a question or needed to be seen. My initial surgery was a success as was my last sugery. While I was recovering, he would check on me & always give me that extra push to get me motivated to heal faster. The hospital is lucky to have him working there when needed.
