Dr. Marina Joseph, MD

I have been a patient of Dr Joseph for many years and have only high praises for her. She always explains her findings and gives me options to deal with the illness, listening to my concerns. never insisting that I have a certain treatment and letting me be part of my healthcare. I value her knowledge, judgement and caring manner.

I was very nervous to see Dr. Joseph for the first time due to reading some negative reviews before my appointment but I have to say she was excellent. She did a thorough examination and made sure she reviewed all of my medical history with me. She knew I was nervous and made me feel very comfortable. She went over her concerns with my health thoroughly and what I can do to help them. I had bloodwork done on Friday afternoon and by Friday evening the results were already on my patient gateway account to review! I definitely would recommend Dr. Joseph to my family and friends.

She was my dr several years ago. She can be quite rude. The office staff is very mean, they always ask for your id even when they know you. I can not explain some good reviews here.

Dr. Joseph is very kind and compassionate, she listens well, is very thorough with her exams, and I never feel rushed. I do not see rude in her nature, and I don’t understand the poor reviews, it’s as if we are talking about two different Dr’s. I also find the staff very friendly and helpful, I for one have no complaints.

In 2019 I was in severe pain. She didn't really listen to me and said it was dehydration. It was actually a fractured disk in my back.

I had Dr Joseph as my primary care doctor for 3 years, even though I thought she was pretty rude and not very good at explaining things. But I won't put up with her anymore, at my last physical my blood pressure was high and instead of explaining my options she mocked me, said I ate nothing but cheeseburgers and pizza without even asking about my diet (actually I eat very low-sodium because high blood pressure runs in my family). She grew angry with me when I said that wasn't the cause, and ended the exam without completing any other tests. But she submitted a fraudulent report to my insurance that she completed the full physical. I filed a complaint and am finding a new doctor.

I find her really insensitive. After the ultrasound and mammogram that pointed to my having breast cancer, she refused to return my call. I had questions about calcium deposits and what was going on. She was good to make sure I got the ultrasound right away. However, I felt she treated me like a specimen when I was in the exam room. I could tell she was afraid.
