Lack of understanding my needs
Marlena is a nice person but I have notice she doesn’t listen to me unless it’s a lack of understanding and wanting to add more meds I didn’t want because the side affects they will do to me from bad experiences in the past. When it comes to my health problems she will not give me needed bloodwork before my visits. I’m use to getting bloodwork done twice of year by another doctor before her and I feel rushed to get me out of the room during our visits like she’s in a caffeine fixed when I see her. I’ve been with her about 4 years.

Poor Dr
I had a very disappointing experience with Dr. Oravitan over the past three years. She consistently failed to listen to my concerns and issued incorrect orders, resulting in multiple errors with my blood work. Communication was extremely poor, often taking up to two weeks to get a response, and issues were rarely resolved. One particularly troubling incident involved her prescribing medications that I explicitly stated I did not want. Not only were these medications unnecessary, but they were also addictive. I managed to resolve my health issues without any medication, which further highlighted the lack of proper care.Throughout my visits, I always felt rushed. Dr. Oravitan seemed more focused on her computer than on addressing my questions or concerns. Her bedside manner was the worst I have ever experienced.Ultimately, I decided to return to a Spectrum doctor, despite my initial reluctance. My experience with Dr. Oravitan was frustrating and unproductive, and I cannot recommend.

Personable and compassionate
Dr. Oravitan has a kind, professional manner. She does a thorough check up while asking questions about health. Whenever I have questions following the visits, I send a message to the office and can expect to receive an answer by phone or email message within 24-48 hours.

I read others comments
Dr. Oravitan is an outstanding dr. I will truly miss her and if I ever get the chance to go back to her office I will. I have been a patient at her office for about 10 years had to switch because of new insurance. When she refers her patients to a specialist you generally receive a call from the specialist within 48-72 hours. Anytime I went to urgent care or emergency department I received a follow up call the next business day. Dr. Oravitan is one of a kind a real diamond in the rough and the best part is she genuinely cares about her patients! I trust her wholeheartedly with my life.

Horrific treatment to my mom today. Made her cry. Dr. O is typically nice but mom cannot understand her, especially with a mask on. Once mom told Dr. O heard this she was done with mom. Said she’d have to use the ER til she found a new doc. SHAME on her!

I called on a Saturday morning about my sister not breathing and she had the audacity to say our office was open until 5 pm on Friday so you can only get sick M-F during open hours. Call on Monday i took her to NOCH her attitude is something to be desired. Why have a doctor on call? Also i called the office on a Monday its Saturday and still waiting for a call back a week later and it was very important its really sad when the doctor is amazing and his support staff is something to be desired. This situation isn't done yet. A one star was given if zero was an option she would have received that from me.

Office is too busy - missed several promised call backs and prescriptions on multiple occasions took longer than 24 hours or were completely forgotten. During a visit Dr's nose goes into your file and her PC. She seldom takes the time to listen, interact and diagnose. I would not trust her to identify anything outside of the most common ailments. Practice feels more like a cash cow for someone than a caring and capable medical establishment.
