Dr. Marie Abougou, MD

Dr A has been my doctor for both of my pregnancies and this time she saved my daughter’s life. I went in for my scheduled 36 week prenatal appointment. She did an exam and noticed that my daughter was not head down. Rather than her waiting for me to see my high risk doctor she sent me for and ultra sound that could have saved my daughters life. I went down to my sonogram and not only was she breech but she had critically low amniotic fluid. She then sent me to the hospital to have an emergency C Section. Had she not taken the initiative to send me down for a scan it could have been too late for my daughter. She always answers all of my questions and concerns. When there’s a problem she always makes sure the problem is solved! She is absolutely amazing and I will forever be grateful for her!

She did not address any of my concerns. She just tried to push an IUD, which I do not need or want. She also stated in my chart that I am currently pregnant which is not correct or even possible.

Delivered my baby years ago. Very traumatic-terrible bedside manner-judgmental and condescending. I wish i would have had a voice and requested a new dr.

My OBGYN recently moved away so I had to schedule an appointment with this Dr, which had no bedside manor, was unprofessional. Didn't listen to what my issue was. Totally ignored the reason I was there, and tried to make me feel stupid. I'm a professional RN with 20+ years experience. I would never recommend this Dr to anyone and will now be traveling over an hour to see the OBGYN that moved farther away.

I had a horrible experience with Dr. Abougou. She preformed a pelvic exam on me while I was 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing complications. This doctor did not listen to me when I asked her to stop doing something painful. I was calm until the Dr. Abougou started panicking in front of me. She has zero bedside manor, and she was not following covid safety requirements while we were in a small room together.

My gyn moved and so I needed to find a new one. Wish I had not gone to this one. Will not be back, rushed, rude, acted like I was stupid for asking questions. Definitely a horrible appointment.

I was not happy with care. Went to see her for vaginal itching, she did not take a swab and when I asked why she said I should return and she would take a sample of my skin and give me a couple of stitches. What??? Got a prescription for $190 which my insurance did not cover. Instead I used vinegar douches and it went away. Thought she was just interested in multiple appointments. Not returning.
