Femoral Nerve Damage
Dr, Gamoso rushed in to apply a nerve block for knee surgery, tossed the box to the nurse who stated she had never done it before. Dr. Gomosa advised just start turning knobs. Post surgery I was completely numb for week in that leg from the block. Since then, I cannot walk without the aid of a crutch, nerve test shows over 60% degradation of the femoral nerve from the block.

Never Trust HEr
My daughter was having abdominal surgery...her4th one so she was pretty familiar with procedures. She was extremely upset when we got called back into prep room. She was telling this doctor that the spinal anesthetic was in the wrong place. ( My daughter has a doctorate in Physical Therapy so she knows the body pretty well.) The doctor insisted it was in the right place. She was not numb in the area where the surgery was being done. The surgeon unfortunately also agreed to go forward with the surgery with the spinal where it was. Never going to use him again either. Anyway after the surgery, there was no proper pain management due to the Spinal being in the wrong place. Even the other anesthesiologists at the hospital agreed it was wrong. Complaints were files and a case was written up against her but we were not allowed to participate other than my daughter being interviewed. We never heard anything back from the hospital regarding it. Her recovery was terrible

Dr. Gamosa was responsible for anesthesia for my daughters abdominal surgery. She believed incision was in different area and thus did epideral in wrong place. Even when surgeon corrected her she refused to admit she was wrong and fix it. This lead to all kinds of post operative problems because there was not proper pain management and my daughter suffered terribly because of her. Btw, my daughter is physical therapist and has undergone three major abdominal surgeries due to cheonic disease. She informed gamosa but gamosa refused to listen and called my daughter a liar. Terrible person.

I was a patient at VA Eye Surgery Center on 12 Jan 21 where Dr. Gamoso was the anesthesiologist for my cataract surgery. I had a nightmare experience. The procedure was painful throughout my time in surgery. It was obvious that insufficient medication was administered. The procedure was allowed to proceed when it was obvious I was in distress. There should be a review of this incident as no one should have been subjected to such malpractice.
