Dr. Marianne Majkowski, DO

I read the other reviews on here and was nervous about our initial appointment for my 4 year old son. I was pleasantly surprised by the fact that she was patient, understanding, easy to communicate with, and informative. She clearly read his file before the appointment. After hearing the details of my son's seizures that started a couple of months ago, she determined a plan of action for medications, tests, and monitoring. I feel relieved to have a doctor on our side who is being so thorough.

Lack of a visit. Confirmation weeks ahead of time. Confirmation day before. Appointment canceled day of due to an appointment at the hair salon. This is a follow-up appointment so my child can only be seen by her. Next available is 2 weeks later but what's the point if they're going to cancel the day of. This place needs to hire people that want to help families and their children with neurological problems. This place is highly not recommended. I would rather go out of network and see doctors that will put patients before their own pleasures.

I will not return. I’m writing this review in tears. I took my son, who is severely disabled, out of school...it’s raining, there was construction on my way. I walked in the door at 8:35 for an 8:30 appointment. They said it was 8:39, and apparently Dr Majkowski does not see patients after 9 min late. I carried him and didn’t get his wheelchair out to save time. The elevator in the building is slow. I am so disappointed. Totally heartless. My son deserves someone kind for his care.

She's not a strong decision maker. I've walked her through the best treatment for my son instead of the other way around. When asking her simple questions she seems clueless as to the answer. I don't have confidence that she would be the best caregiver if my son's treatment required complex care.
